    摘要: An intelligent assembly system for a manufacturing process using one or more sensors that provide information for controlling, monitoring and/or evaluating the process. One or more sensors may be mounted on a module assembly and/or on a powered tool device. The one or more sensors may sense a vibratory signature and/or electrical current during the process and supply information, such as a data signal, to a software program or other processor for processing. For example, using a database of stored data regarding vibratory signatures and/or electrical currents for one or more power tool devices used in the manufacturing process, the information may be compared and analyzed to determine if it is within a specified range. Results of such analysis may be transmitted to an operator and/or graphically displayed. The results and/or display may instruct the operator to continue with the manufacturing process or inspect the process step just completed for possible error.

    摘要: A torque sequence template includes a head gasket backing that is constructed and arranged to support a head gasket when packaged with the backing. The head gasket backing has a plurality of tightening sequence punch-outs arranged thereon in positions corresponding to head bolt locations. The cylinder head bolts are used to secure an engine head to the block. The head gasket backing has sequence indicators provided next to the punch-outs that indicate the sequence in which the bolts are to be tightened.

    摘要: A digital fastener size indicator comprising a housing. A fixed jaw extends from an end of the housing, while a movable jaw extends from the end of the housing adjacent to and parallel with the fixed jaw. A digital electrical length measuring circuit within the housing is connected to the movable jaw. When the movable jaw and the fixed jaw encompass a fastener and the digital electrical length measuring circuit is activated a digital readout will be presented in the housing of a single discrete number to an operator to indicate the size of the fastener.

    摘要: A unit type linear scale is provided, which has a frame body that houses a plate-shaped main scale and extends in a direction of length measurement. The frame body is fixed with screws at multiple positions to an object of measurement through screw holes formed at a plurality of positions along the direction of length measurement. A groove is formed in the frame and extended in the direction of length measurement, and one surface of the main scale is made to contact with the wall surface of one side of the groove. An elastic component is provided between, however excluding portions where the screw holes are provided, the wall surface of the groove on the other side of the groove along the direction of length measurement and the other surface of the main scale. Thereby, the scale is secured by the frame.

The first slide member includes a pair of wing portions and a connecting portion connecting the wing portions. First raceway grooves are formed on the wing portions, individually. Second raceway grooves are formed on the second slide member. Rolling elements are held under a pre-load between the raceway grooves. A residual compression stress region is created on the surface region of the first slide member. A worked portion is formed on the connecting portion. The worked portion serves to adjust the pre-load on the rolling elements by regulating the residual compression stress region by working to deform the connecting portion.

The micrometer comprises a housing supported on a circumferential surface of the cylindrical body. A first sensing element is movably supported by the housing and adapted for sensing a first surface point of the cylindrical body laterally spaced apart from the housing and disposed in a cross-sectional plane of the cylindrical body. A second sensing element is mounted to the housing for contact with a second surface point of the cylindrical body disposed in the cross-sectional plane of the cylindrical body. The first and second surface points locate, respectively, a terminal and midpoint of a chord lying in the cross-section plane of the cylindrical body, from which the diameter of the cylindrical body is determined.
