摘要: A hybrid modular storage fetching system is described. In an example implementation, an automated guided vehicle of the hybrid modular storage fetching system includes a drive unit that provides motive force to propel the automated guided vehicle within an operating environment. The automated guided vehicle may also include a container handling mechanism including an extender and a carrying surface, the container handling mechanism having three or more degrees of freedom to move the carrying surface along three or more axes. The container handling mechanism may retrieve an item from a first target shelving unit using the carrying surface and the three or more degrees of freedom and place the item on a second target shelving unit. The automated guided vehicle may also include a power source coupled to provide power to the drive unit and the container handling mechanism.

摘要: A system and method are provided for automated engaging of a truck trailer at a loading dock. Sensors measure a distance and an angle of alignment between the incoming trailer and a wall of the loading dock. An outside lighting system guides a truck driver backing the trailer toward the dock door. A vehicle restraint system fixates the trailer within the loading dock in response to signals from the sensors. An overhead dock door opens once the trailer is successfully fixated by the vehicle restraint system. A dock leveler deploys after the overhead dock door opens. An inside dock light indicates to dock personnel that the trailer is ready to be serviced. Once servicing of the trailer is finished, an automated release of the trailer from the loading dock may be initiated by PLC communication.

摘要: A system and method for automated loading of delivery vehicles using automated guided vehicles is described. In an example implementation, a loading coordination engine may determine a delivery destination of a first item based on item data associated with the first item, assign the first item to a location in a delivery vehicle, and generate a task list including an instruction to an automated guided vehicle to position the first item in the delivery vehicle based on the assigned location in the delivery vehicle. In some instances, the automated guided vehicle may navigate to a loading area to retrieve the first item from the loading area, navigate to a point proximate to the assigned location in the delivery vehicle, and place the first item at the assigned location based on the task list.

摘要: A mud flap lifting system specifically for a live bottom type trailer vehicle in which asphalt or similar is dispensed from the rear of the trailer load box for a paving operation using a paving machine in tandem with the trailer. Pneumatic lift cylinders on each side of the trailer load box are used to retract and extend cables running rearwardly from the cylinders to and through cable guides positioned vertically above the mud flaps. The cables are operable to pull or lift the lower portions of the mud flaps upwardly and outwardly into curved configurations located above a paving machine roller as it engages the rear wheels of the trailer, and at a height designed to engage the paving machine hopper as it engages the trailer.

摘要: A caddy for a pickup truck having a truck bed. The caddy including a body member and at least two elongate members securing the body member with respect to an interior of the truck. The body member having a bottom wall positionable on a floor of the truck bed, a forward wall extending upwardly from the bottom wall across the truck bed, and a pair of sidewalls positionable along lateral sides of the truck and each connected to the bottom and forward walls. The at least two elongate members are of a plurality of elongate members with an elastic length. Each of the at least two elongate members extends upwardly from a lower position at the interior of the truck toward a higher position at the corresponding one of the sidewalls. The elastic length of each of the at least two elongate members is stretched between the lower and upper positions, thus pulling the body member toward the floor of the truck bed.

摘要: A load securing assembly for securing cargo in a trailer includes a trailer that has an outer wall. A plurality of channels is provided, each of the channels is coupled to the outer wall of the trailer and each of the channels is positioned within the trailer. A plurality of locking units is provided and each of the locking units is slidably positioned in a respective one of the channels. Each of the locking units releasably engages the respective channel to retain each of the locking units at a selected point along the respective channel. Each of the locking units is positioned to abut the cargo in the trailer thereby inhibiting the cargo from moving in the trailer. Additionally, each of the locking units is positionable in a home position for storage.

摘要: The invention relates to a detector arrangement and method for determining a mutual position or a mutual state of motion of at least two structural parts of a mobile work machine. The arrangement comprises detectors configurable to determine at least in one direction of measurement at least two different measured variables in order to determine at least structural-part-specific position or state of motion information for each direction of measurement. The arrangement further comprises a data processing means for receiving measurement signals describing measured variables as well as for determining a mutual position or state of motion of the structural parts on the basis of the structural-part-specific position or state of motion information.
