Abstract: The present disclosure describes a computer-implemented method for determining and reporting compliance with rules regarding discarded material from an originating site. The method may include obtaining, for each batch of a plurality of batches of discarded material, identification information of a respective originating site, capturing image data for each batch and associating the identification and image data. The identification and image data may be sent to a server having rules regarding the discarded material. The server may then determine data regarding compliance and generate a report including data regarding compliance with the rules regarding the discarded material for each originating site.

Abstract: Methods and devices for decommissioning micro-climate sensors for generating product flow data for each of a plurality of items of sale flowing through a supply chain are disclosed. An example device may include an opening for receiving at least one micro-climate sensor and a space for storing the sensor. The device may further include a plurality of sensors operative to detect a presence of the at least one micro-climate sensor, and a sensor decommission circuit to generate a decommission command value in response to detection of the at least one micro-climate sensor.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes a computer-implemented method for determining and reporting compliance with rules regarding discarded material from an originating site. The method may include obtaining, for each batch of a plurality of batches of discarded material, identification information of a respective originating site, capturing image data for each batch and associating the identification and image data. The identification and image data may be sent to a server having rules regarding the discarded material. The server may then determine data regarding compliance and generate a report including data regarding compliance with the rules regarding the discarded material for each originating site.

An example system may include an electronic mobile device to generate visual disposition data from a plurality of items in a store. The example system may further include a server to generate processed disposition data via image processing the visual disposition data and determine disposition analysis data for an item of sale from the processed disposition data. The server may further transmit the disposition analysis data, where the disposition analysis data includes an indication of a causal event for the disposal of the item of sale.

Abstract: Systems and methods for determining shrinkage of a commodity sold by a store are provided which may include: identifying data indicative of a volume of the commodity, associating a label with a container that holds the commodity, collecting the label information with a reader and transmitting collected label information to at least one server, automatically determining data characterizing the material in the container, associating the label information and the data characterizing the material in the container, and determining performance data related to the commodity by comparing the data indicative of the volume of the commodity supplied to the store, the data indicative of the volume of the commodity sold by the store, and the data characterizing the material in the container.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices are provided for tracking and managing waste or recyclable materials, which may include one or more devices enabled to capture and record information about waste material at a point in a distribution chain, and information technology systems for collecting, processing, and analyzing information about a large number and variety of streams of waste material. A forklift system may include a forklift, an RFID reader with an antenna positioned on or in proximity to the forklift, wherein the antenna is positioned to read RFID information from an RFID tag positioned on an item handled by the forklift. The system may also include a device for measuring a parameter indicative of the weight of the item handled by the forklift, and a processing facility with a server for associating the information read by the RFID reader and the parameter indicative of the weight of the item.
