    摘要: An electronic balance includes a measuring cell for electromagnetic load compensation. The measuring cell and a load receiving member of the balance are arranged in an inner housing which is closed to all sides with the exception of an opening for a receiving cone of the load receiving member. The inner housing is mounted in the balance housing so as to be spaced apart from the walls, the base and the cover of the balance housing. A circumferentially extending partition wall is tightly sealingly attached to the bottom and the cover of the balance housing. The partition wall is mounted between the inner housing and the walls of the balance housing.

    摘要: Weighing apparatus of the electromagnetic load compensation type is provided with a movable coil arranged in the air gap of a permanent magnet system, and which includes a load-compensation winding through which flows a load-dependent compensation current. As a temperature sensor for measuring the coil temperature, use is made of the coil, specifically, either the load winding itself or an additional winding that is in thermal contact with it. A resistance measuring device determines its temperature-dependent resistance from the voltage and the current on or in the winding. Accurate and real-time measurement of the coil temperature as a measure for controlling the compensation of its influence on the measurement reading is possible in this way.

    摘要: The weighing device for wheel loads has a platform (3) which distributes the load over a plurality of elongated hollow elements (2) disposed parallel with and at equal distances apart from and alongside one another on a baseplate (1). The hollow elements (2) consists of springing material and their cavities (12) are filled with fluid. A connecting line links the cavities (12) to a measuring device which is calibrated in units of weight and measures the volume of fluid displaced from the cavities (12) under load. The cavities (12) in the hollow elements (2) have a split or gap-shaped cross-section, and are substantially parallel with the platform (3). The gap width in the hollow elements (2) is so dimensioned that the inside faces of the hollow elements (2) which define the gap (12) at least partially abut each other when the weighing device is overloaded, prior to the elasticity limit of the hollow elements (2) being reached. By virtue of the cross-sectionally split or gap-shaped construction of the cavities (12 ), a plastic deformation of the hollow elements (2) is easily avoided without the disposition of rod elements in the cavities.

    摘要: An electronic balance devised so that the weighing pan of the balance may settle down fast to make the balance indicate a correct value of measurement quickly without being long disturbed by the air turbulence arising when the door of the weighing pan protecting chamber of the balance is opened and continuing for a while after the door has been closed. This electronic balance is provided witha heater on the base portion of the weighing pan protecting chamber so that the heater is located just below the door of the chamber. The heater generates hot air streams rising upward therefrom along the outer surface of the door. When the door is opened, the air streams play a role of an air curtain to prevent a possible air exchange between the hotter chamber warmed by the electronic circuit of the balance and the cooler surrounding atmosphere.

    摘要: An electromagnetic force-transducer comprising a magnetic circuit and an electromagnetic coil kept movable in the static field provided by said magnetic circuit. The electromagnetic coil consists of two coaxial parallel windings wound on a common frame with a distance kept between the both. The magnetic circuit comprises an inner magnetic path and an outer magnetic path with a cylindrical clearance left therebetween. In the upper and the lower part of the clearance there are provided with an upper magnetic gap and a lower magnetic gap, respectively. The magnetic field in the upper gap and that in the lower gap are directed oppositely to each other. The coil frame is kept movable vertically in the cylindrical clearance, positioning one of the two windings in the upper magnetic gap and the other in the lower magnetic gap. The two windings are current-supplied in the directions opposite to each other to produce their respective electromagnetic forces in the same direction. Thus, the magnetic fields produced by the two windings are cancelled by each other, so that the resultant magnetic field by the entire electromagnetic coil does not affect the fields provided at the magnetic gaps by the magnetic circuit.

    摘要: An improved balance of the electromagnetic load-compensation type is disclosed wherein, in order to improve the temperature-dependent performance of the balance and to reduce the size and amount of operating space required, the load compensation coil (54) is transversely mounted on the balance beam (36) with the plane of the coil extending normal to the longitudinal axis of the balance beam. The load-compensation system also includes a permanent magnet (74) mounted on the balance housing adjacent, spaced from and parallel with the compensation coil, the permanent magnet being magnetized in a direction causing the magnetic field lines to extend parallel with the longitudinal axis of the balance beam, whereby current flowing through the load compensation coil reacts with the magnetic field of the permanent magnet to produce a force on the balance beam that compensates for the load applied to the balance. Such an arrangement is economical to produce and is applicable, in particular, for balances having a medium degree of resolution in respect to the weighing result.
