    摘要: A connect/disconnect mechanism for an MCC unit, prevents a circuit breaker from being turned on while the unit is being inserted into an MCC section, until stabs of the unit have been connected to a power bus. A cam is rotatably mounted on a pivoted platform in the MCC unit, an actuating arm is coupled between a unit on/off handle of the MCC unit and the cam, and a bail is pivotally mounted on the pivoting platform and connected to a switch handle of the breaker. A cam surface in a slot of the cam is configured to engage a pin projecting from the bail, when the pivoted platform is forced in a backward direction to connect the stabs to the bus, thereby operatively connecting the unit on/off handle to the switch handle of the breaker.

    摘要: In a unit apparatus in which units each equipped with a device are disposed in multiple stages and are attached to a housing, the unit apparatus includes: a device-protecting cover which is disposed on the front surface side of the unit and is formed by bending an upper part or a lower part thereof to protect the device; and a unit frame body having a unit base which is disposed in lapped relation on one of the bent upper part surface or the bent lower part surface of the device-protecting cover. The device-protecting cover and the unit frame body constitute a unit chamber; and the units are disposed in multiple stages in said housing, whereby the other of the bent upper part surface or the bent lower part surface of said bent device-protecting cover is shielded.

    摘要: An electrical enclosure wherein an electrical component can be moved between various positions (e.g., connected, disconnected, test, etc.) without opening an enclosure door. The electrical enclosure supports a component for movement between a withdrawn position, a test position, and an inserted position. A handle is accessible by an operator from an exterior of the enclosure and is configured to move the component between the respective positions without having to open the enclosure. The handle is integral with the enclosure and thus an operator needs no special tool or other device to effect movement of the electrical component between its respective positions.

    摘要: A system and method for supporting at least one electrical cable is provided. The at least one electrical cable may be secured to a movable electronic device disposed within a chassis. A harness is provided that is securable to at least one electrical cable. A flexible support member is provided to support the harness and the at least one electrical cable. The flexible support member may move with the electrical device as the electrical device is moved. The flexible support member may comprise wire. A wire reel may be provided to extend and retract the wire. The wire of the wire reel may be unwound as the electrical device is moved from a normal position to a withdrawn position. The wire of the wire reel may be wound as the electronic device is moved from the withdrawn position to the normal position.

The assembly plate can be moved in a direction of the associated side wall by sliders on at least one guide rail and brought into a position for mounting. Limited mounting opportunities, because of the guide rails, are thus avoided by designing the guide rails as a separate part, by providing positioning units which are detachably secured to the switching cabinet, and by being able to remove the guide rails from the cabinet after the assembly plate is positioned.

    摘要: An apparatus for the arrangement of patch panels (5, 48) which support optical waveguide plug systems, such as couplings or plugs, preferably within a distribution rack and patch panel cabinet (1) in 19-inch rack technology. Two horizontally running U-shaped rails (3, 4) are furnished in each case with longitudinal slots (30'", 40'") disposed with their openings facing each other and on top of each other in a vertical direction. The U-shaped rails (3, 4) are horizontally supported at their ends within the distribution rack and patch panel cabinet (1). The patch panel (5) is received with its longitudinal edges between the U-shaped rails (3, 4). The arms (3', 3") of the upper U-shaped rails (3) are longer than the arms (4', 4") of the lower U-shaped rails (4). The width (a) of the patch panel (5, 48) is larger than the open distance (b) between the two outermost edges (30, 40), disposed facing each other, of the arms (3, 3", 4, 4') of the upper and lower U-shaped rails (3, 4), however smaller than the open distance (c) of the rail floors (30', 40') from each other. There are preferred the U-shaped rails (43, 43') which are part of a frame plate (41), and which are preferably an integral part of a frame plate. The frame plate (41) defines a rectangular recess (47) for receiving the patch panel (48). Distributor boxes (12, 12', 53) can be disposed at the patch panels (5, 48).
