摘要: Systems and apparatuses for access-controlled electrical docking stations that automatically switch power to an electrical system between generator power and utility power are disclosed herein. An illustrative electrical docking station can include a cabinet that houses a circuit breaker, a generator interface to connect generators to the electrical docking station, an Automatic Transfer Switch, and a power supply. The power supply can supply converted DC power and protection to different accessories for the electrical docking station including an alarm, a supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA), and a locking mechanism. The locking mechanism can be configured to lock a door to the generator connectors in a closed position when the ATS is energized by a generator and to not lock the door when the door is in an open position. In some such circumstances, the alarm can shine green or provide an audible alarm and shine red respectively.

摘要: A split door submersible housing for an electrical distribution system includes a cabinet body defining an interior region configured to accept a component of the electrical distribution system, and a first door and a second door positioned side by side to cover an open front portion of the cabinet body. The cabinet body includes at least one opening configured to accept an electrode sealed with and electrically isolated from the cabinet body and extending through the cabinet body to establish electrical connection between a corresponding terminal of the component and an electrical distribution network. A gasket system is provided, which comprises a first gasket configured to fit on the first door and a second gasket configured to fit on the second door. The gasket system seals the first door and the second door against each other and against a corresponding surface on the cabinet body, when the first and second doors are closed and locked, so that the housing is water tight.

Said cabinet comprises a frame, at least one front door, and a main switch device including a main switch unit transferable between a power on position and a power off position, a manually operable main switch operating unit operatively connected to the main switch unit for transferring the main switch unit between the power on position and the power off position, said main switch operating unit being located at the front side of the cabinet, and an exclusively mechanically operating front door safety ensuring unit allowing opening the at least one front door only if the main switch unit is in its power off position and allowing transferring the main switch unit to its power on position only if the at least one front door is closed. According to the invention, the main switch operating unit is mounted on the front door panel.

摘要: An assembly includes a ring frame having first and second open sides and an electrical connector block; a mounting structure to which the ring frame is secured; a plurality of power and signal cable connection points defined on the ring frame; and a plurality of power and signal cables coupled to the power and signal cable connection points and the connector block. First and second covers are secured to the ring frame. Each of the first and second covers is open on one side facing the ring frame and defines a mounting cavity. A plurality of heat-dissipating electronic components are mechanically and thermally coupled to the first and second covers and located in the mounting cavities. The heat-dissipating electronic components are releasably electrically coupled to the electrical connector block.
