Abstract:
A cable immobilizing device for an electronic device. The cable immobilizing device includes a buckle and a sleeve. The buckle is fixed on a shell of the electronic device. The buckle includes two juts facing to each other. The two juts define a slot therebetween to receive a cable of the electronic device. The sleeve is configured to enclose the cable, the outer diameter of the sleeve is lager than the width of the slot.
Abstract:
Methods, systems, and media to enhance image processing for a color reprographic system are disclosed. Embodiments of the invention may calibrate a component like scanner and/or printer in response to user input and/or coupling the component to the reprographic system. More specifically, embodiments may generate correction parameters that describe differences in color values between an image scanned by a scanner or an image printed by the printer by comparing the outputs to known characteristics like color values for the image. Some embodiments comprise a graphical user interface (GUI) to communicate with the user, allowing the user to select user preferences to change, for example, the brightness of an image being copied. Further embodiments incorporate network and phone system interfaces to communicate with remote components as well as to receive input from and/or output to other systems via email, facsimile, etc.
Abstract:
An electronic device includes a main body, a lid body, a hinge, a notch, and a cable. The main body includes a connecting side where the lid body is pivotally mounted to the main body. The hinge is disposed on the connecting side for mounting the lid body to the main body, and includes a fixing frame mounted to one of the main body and the lid body and a pivot member mounted to the other of the main body and the lid body. The notch is defined on one side of the pivot member. The cable extends along the notch and transmits electrical signals between the main body and the lid body.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for an automated system management process are described. According to an embodiment of the invention, a method comprises receiving data regarding operation of a network; automatically generating network policies based at least in part on the data regarding operation of the network using automation intelligence; applying the network policies to modify operations of the network; and receiving data regarding the operation of the network after the modification of the operations of the network.
Abstract:
A system and a method for implementing LBS accounting are disclosed. The system includes a LS and an accounting server in a CSN. The LS includes an LS CF, which is adapted to collect LBS-related accounting information with respect to the user who sends the location request and/or the user to be located at different time points, create UDRs of the LS according to the accounting information, and send the UDRs of the LS to the accounting server. The accounting server performs accounting for the LBS according to the received UDRs.
Abstract:
Compounds having the structures of Formula I, including pharmaceutically acceptable salts of the compounds, are CETP inhibitors, and are useful for raising HDL-cholesterol, reducing LDL-cholesterol, and for treating or preventing atherosclerosis: In the compounds of Formula I, B or R2 is a phenyl group which has an ortho aryl, heterocyclic, benzoheterocyclic or benzocycloalkyl substituent, and one other position on the 5-membered ring has an aromatic, heterocyclic, cycloalkyl, benzoheterocyclic or benzocycloalkyl substituent connected directly to the ring or attached to the ring through a —CH2—.
Abstract:
An infrared receiver includes a shielding member and an infrared detecting member. The shielding member has negative refractive power for diverging incident infrared rays. The infrared detecting member includes a main body formed with a convex surface having positive refractive power and an infrared sensor enclosed in the main body. The infrared sensor receives infrared rays converged by the convex surface, and converts received infrared rays to electrical signals.
Abstract:
A system (1) for producing a depth map of a video sequence comprises a client (C) and a server (S) connected by a network (N). A secondary video sequence (M*) available at the client (C) is derived from a primary video sequence (M) available at the server (S), the primary video sequence (M) having a primary depth map (D). The server comprises a transmission unit for transmitting the primary depth map (D) to the client. The client comprises an alignment unit for aligning the primary depth map (D) with the secondary video sequence (M*) so as to produce alignment information (AI), and a derivation unit for deriving the secondary depth map (D*) from the primary depth map (D) using the alignment information (AI).
