Abstract:
There is provided a disk drive including a disk drive base and a spindle motor hub. The disk drive further includes first and second disks disposed about the spindle motor hub. The disk drive further includes a disk spacer disposed about the spindle motor hub between the first and second disks. The disk spacer includes a circumferential disk spacer opening. The disk drive including a plate body extending between the first and second disks for modifying air flow adjacent the first and second disks during operation of the disk drive, and an inner edge extending from the plate body and disposed towards the hub, the inner edge being disposed within the disk spacer opening overlapping the disk spacer in a direction parallel to the axis of rotation for mitigating against contact between the inner edge and the first and second disks.
Abstract:
An aspect of the invention can be regarded as a disk drive that includes a disk drive base and a spindle motor hub rotatably coupled to the disk drive base. The disk drive further includes a first disk disposed about the spindle motor hub and having a first disk stiffness. The disk drive further includes a second disk disposed about the spindle motor hub and having a second disk stiffness different than the first disk stiffness. According to another aspect of the present invention, the second disk has a second disk thickness different than a first disk thickness. According to another aspect of the present invention, the second disk is formed of a second material having a second material stiffness different than a first material stiffness.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a process for preparing or selecting compositions having a fragrance burst of at least 20% relative to a product before dilution as well as enhanced deposition. The composition is selected such that perfume and surfactant in said composition yields a calculated “Perfume Burst Index” (PBI) value of less than 3 as per algorithm defining the PBI.
Abstract:
The invention relates to stable aqueous-aqueous emulsions defined by a dispersed phase having molecule(s) meeting special criteria and continuous phase having surfactant or surfactant system with micelles in rod-like shapes.
Abstract:
To prevent a furnace in a semiconductor process from temperature and gas excursion, a paddle and spike thermal couples arranged on the sidewall of the tube and adjacent to the heater, respectively, are connected to a temperature controller to regulate the heater, and a mass controller adjusts the gas flow injected to the tube. In the method, the spike thermal couple, peddle thermal couple and zero point of the mass flow controller are checked to maintain within a first and second temperature ranges and a first gas flow speed range, respectively, and after wafers are loaded and temperature is ramped up, the peddle thermal couple and mass flow controller are checked again to maintain within a third temperature range and second gas flow speed range.
Abstract:
A method for producing a circuit layout comprising the steps of establishing high-level input parameters which identify input/output characteristics and high-level functional parameters of a data path, inputting the input parameters to a compiler, the compiler performing steps of creating a data path netlist by selecting data path components in response to the established high-level input parameters; and automatically selecting control logic for the data path components. The data path netlist is a high-level netlist of Boolean logic which can then easily be translated into a gate level implementation of the circuit layout.
Abstract:
Carry-chain structures useful in circuits such as adders, subtractors, counters and arithmetic logic units (i.e., ALU's). The carry-chain structures have regular architectures that can be conveniently generated in various bit widths by automated compiler systems. In a preferred embodiment, a method for automatically generating a carry-chain circuit using a compiler which includes a library of cells by selecting a first cell from the library of cells for use as a carry propagation cell, and using the first cell for multiplexing a carry signal produced by the carry propagation cell, such that the carry-chain includes a plurality of first cells. Further, a carry-chain architecture is produced using the aforementioned method.
