    Abstract: A vehicle seat including: an outside cover; an inside cover; a side airbag module; a side frame; an outside reinforcement cloth that covers a seat width direction outer side of the side airbag module; and an inside reinforcement cloth that is disposed between the side frame and the side airbag module, that covers a seat width direction inner side of the side airbag module, that includes one seat front-rear direction end portion separated into seat upper and lower sides and fixed to the side frame in a manner that avoids the fixing portion, that includes another seat front-rear direction end portion joined to the inside cover at the join portion, and that is configured to transmit tension to the join portion during inflation and deployment of the side airbag.

    Abstract: A coil spring includes a wire shaped to be helical, and is compressed between an upper spring seat and a lower spring seat. The coil spring includes an upper portion and a lower portion. A positive pitch winding end portion is formed on the upper portion of the coil spring. A terminal-point-strong-abutting-portion is formed at a distal end of the winding end portion. The terminal-point-strong-abutting-portion is in contact with the upper spring seat at one point at a position deviated to an inner side of a vehicle with respect to a coil central axis. On the lower portion of the coil spring, an end turn portion which contacts the lower spring seat is formed.

    Abstract: A joined body includes: a thin plate including through holes; first members each including: a base portion and a protruding portion inserted into one of the through holes; and a second member placed oppositely to the base portion via the thin plate and made of a material that is of a same kind as a material of the first members. The thin plate is made of a material having a specific gravity smaller than the materials of the first and the second members. The second member and an end portion of the protruding portion are connected together by melt-solidification. A post-joining hardness difference in a range of 30% along a direction orthogonal to a joint interface between the second member and the protruding portion, the range being centered on the joint interface, is equal to or less than 90% of a pre-joining hardness difference.

    Abstract: A nozzle cleaning apparatus has one cleaning liquid outlet to which a nozzle is attached, and the other cleaning liquid outlet to which a cleaning attachment is attached. The cleaning attachment includes a nozzle cover, and a cleaning holder attached to the nozzle cover. A cleaning chamber is formed in the nozzle cover.     Abstract: In a vehicle seat, a second parallel link mechanism is actuated in order to adjust an vertical position of a seat body with respect to a vehicle body, such that a first parallel link mechanism is moved up or down together with the seat body with respect to the vehicle body. In order to recline a seatback as an integral unit with a seat cushion, the first parallel link mechanism and the second parallel link mechanism are actuated such that an upper link is maintained in a predetermined orientation. The upper link is restricted from rotating relative to the armrest, and so the armrest is also maintained in a predetermined orientation.
