Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for determining a synthetic aperture of a synthetic aperture radar, SAR, system using information from a global navigation satellite system, GNSS, which includes a plurality of satellites each transmitting a radio frequency signal comprising a unique pseudo random number, PRN. The method comprises: receiving the radio frequency signal from a group of satellites in the GNSS, determining a first maximum correlation peak of the PRN of the received radio frequency signal from each satellite in the group of satellites, determining the phase shift between the first determined maximum correlation peak and a second determined maximum correlation peak of a received PRN from the same satellite at a later time, for each satellite in the group of satellites, determining a line-of-sight, LOS, movement of the SAR system relative each of the satellites in the group of satellites by means of the determined phase shift for each satellite in the group of satellites, and determining a synthetic aperture using the LOS movement relative each satellite in the group of satellites.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for a continuous arbitrary waveform radar configured for transmitting and receiving signals over a selected communication band. The method comprises: generating the radar transmit signal with a waveform having a non-monotonic frequency change, modifying the waveform to obtain at least one spectral notch and isolating reception and transmission by cancellation. Each spectral notch at a selectable frequency with a selectable bandwidth, and the waveform is modified to maintain the spectral density of the transmit radar signal.

Abstract: A sensor surveillance system (100) and a method for determining possible geographic positions of at least one assumed undetected target (1a-n) within a geographic volume of interest (200) is provided, wherein for a first point in time ti the following steps are performed: dividing the geographic volume of interest (200) into sections (10); assuming the existence of an assumed undetected target (1a-n) at a geographic position within each section (10); and initiating the creation of a pattern (2) defining at least one possible geographic position of the assumed undetected target, said pattern extends at least partially around the geographic position of the assumed undetected target (1a-n); wherein the geographic extension of said pattern is determined based on: the category of the assumed undetected target (1a-n); and the amount of time that has passed from the first point in time t1. Further, for a second point in time t2 the following steps are performed: determining geographic locations (205) within said geographic volume of interest (200) from where sensor signals show absence of targets; and removing the pattern (2) from the geographic locations (205) from where sensor signals show absence of targets.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates devices and a method for monitoring a display image (2) in a transparent optical projection display. They disclose a display image monitor (1) comprising a fiber optic face plate (4) and an image sensor (5). The fiber optic face plate (4) comprises a first surface (4a) with optic fiber ends and a second surface (4b) with corresponding optic fiber ends and transfers light from the first surface (4a) to the second surface (4b) through the optic fibers, wherein the first surface abuts against a part (2a) of the display image (2) at a focused image plane (2b) and thus the light of the part of the display image enters the optic fiber ends and wherein the second surface is arranged to direct the part of the display image to the image sensor, thereby transferring the part of the display image to the image sensor.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a shock absorbing arrangement suitable e.g. for ship installed structures comprising a rod, a resilient member arranged in connection to the rod, a structure element and a locking member arranged in connection to the structure element. The locking member is arranged to detachably lock the structure element at a resting position at the rod and the locking member, or the structure element, is supported by the resilient member. The resilient member is configured such that a spring force of the resilient member acts to maintain the structure element essentially at the resting position at the rod. The locking member is further configured to release the structure element from the resting position when being exposed to a force exceeding a predetermined holding force, whereupon the resilient member acts to reinstate the locking of the structure element at the resting position at the rod. The present disclosure further relates to a shock absorbing structure comprising such shock absorbing arrangements.
