    摘要: The present disclosure relates to a shock absorbing arrangement suitable e.g. for ship installed structures comprising a rod, a resilient member arranged in connection to the rod, a structure element and a locking member arranged in connection to the structure element. The locking member is arranged to detachably lock the structure element at a resting position at the rod and the locking member, or the structure element, is supported by the resilient member. The resilient member is configured such that a spring force of the resilient member acts to maintain the structure element essentially at the resting position at the rod. The locking member is further configured to release the structure element from the resting position when being exposed to a force exceeding a predetermined holding force, whereupon the resilient member acts to reinstate the locking of the structure element at the resting position at the rod. The present disclosure further relates to a shock absorbing structure comprising such shock absorbing arrangements.

A second spring is coupled to at least one outboard edge region of the first spring. The second spring is a sheet-like structure capable of elongation along an in-plane dimension thereof. The second spring is oriented such that its in-plane dimension is aligned with the length of the first spring's serpentine structure.

    摘要: A dual-spring plunger for a plunger matrix mattress assembly includes an outer tension spring with an upper end fixed to an outer spring mount of a plunger guide body and a lower end located below the guide body positioned to receive a bottom end of a pin of the plunger. An inner tension spring nested within the outer tension spring has an upper end fixed to the inner spring mount of the guide body and a lower end having a spur slidably captured within a slot through a fin of the shaft of the pin. The outer spring is tensioned while the inner spring is not tensioned during a first portion of downward movement of the pin relative to the pin guide, whereas both the outer and the inner spring are tensioned during a second portion of downward movement of the pin relative to the pin guide.

    摘要: The device of the invention consists in a telescopic element with two arms, one of them movable within the other, having in its corresponding ends attachment means (3), so that the shorter arm (2) has means with an axial groove (5) which in the normal working situation is operatively opposite in respect to an axial chamber (6) of the internal portion of the longer arm (1), so that in said chamber a blocking element is movable vertically in respect to the groove, preferably a cylinder (7) opposing the effort of an elastic element located within the corresponding housing (11) which is encased in said groove (5) blocking the device and permitting its unblocking once the effort of the elastic means on the cylinder is exceeded. The device is reusable and it is easily adjustable to different levels of effort for its unblocking.

In one embodiment, the low frequency isolation device includes a three parameter isolator and a break frequency-reducing series spring mechanically coupled in series with the three parameter isolator and having a predetermined axial stiffness (KS AXIAL) and a predetermined lateral stiffness (KS LATERAL). The predetermined axial stiffness (KS AXIAL) of the break frequency-reducing series spring is less than the predetermined lateral stiffness (KS LATERAL) thereof.
