    Abstract: Aspects relate to techniques for enhancing sidelink scheduling information to include a priority assigned to a sidelink transmission. For example, a transmitting wireless communication device may receive sidelink scheduling information scheduling a sidelink transmission from a transmitting wireless communication device to a receiving wireless communication device. The sidelink scheduling information may further include a priority indicator associated with the sidelink transmission. The transmitting wireless communication device may then transmit the sidelink transmission to the receiving wireless communication device based on the scheduling information. The priority indicator may further facilitate hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) codebook construction on the sidelink and uplink for the transmission of acknowledgement information of the sidelink transmission.

    Abstract: Systems and techniques are provided for accelerated shadow ray traversal for a hierarchical structure for ray tracing. For instance, a process can include obtaining a hierarchical acceleration data structure, the hierarchical acceleration data structure including one or more primitives of a scene object. Two or more nodes included in a same level of the hierarchical acceleration data structure can be sorted into a sort order, the sort order based on a sorting parameter value determined for each respective node of the two or more nodes. The sorting parameter value can be associated with a probability of determining a ray-opaque primitive intersection for each respective node of the two or more nodes. An intersection between a shadow ray and an opaque primitive included in a node of the two or more nodes can be determined based on traversing the hierarchical acceleration data structure using the sort order.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may be configured to transmit a first sidelink control information (SCI) message associated with a first sidelink transmission from the first UE, the first SCI including a first indication of a first set of resources reserved for retransmissions of the first sidelink transmission at one or more retransmission occasions. The UE may identify a second SCI message associated with the first SCI message, where the second SCI provides a release of at least a first subset of the first set of resources reserved for the retransmissions of the first sidelink transmission. The UE may then perform retransmissions of the first sidelink transmission in accordance with the release.

    Abstract: A base station may configure a first node and at least one second node with an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) network with the multipath multi-hop transmission configuration. The first node and the at least one second node may communicate with the first node through a direct path and a multi-hop transmission including the base station. The first node and the at least one second node may detect transmission failure on the direct path and retransmit the data packet to the multi-hop transmission, on a set of physical resource blocks (PRBs) configured by the base station. The first node may transmit remote buffer state report (rBSR) to the base station, and the base station may configure the set of PRBs for retransmissions based on the rBSR.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A first user equipment (UE) may determine to perform a relay selection procedure and receive respective messages from one or more second UEs including one or more parameters for selecting a second UE to relay communications between the first UE and a network entity. The first UE may determine that respective parameters satisfy a threshold and select the second UE associated with the respective parameters. In some cases, the first UE may receive a control message prior to performing the relay selection procedure. The control message may include a configuration for modifying the communication path that includes an indication of one or more candidate UEs for relaying communications between the first UE and the network entity.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support configured reception with sidelink control information (SCI) repetition over a sidelink. In aspects, a receiving user equipment (UE) may be configured to conduct combined reception/decoding of SCI repetitions (received from a transmitting UE over a sidelink) over multiple time-frequency slots at pre-defined occasions (e.g., occasions configured by a base station) to decode a sidelink transmission. In aspects, a receiving UE may receive from a transmitting UE over a sidelink, a sidelink transmission during a reception occasion that includes a plurality of reception opportunities for the receiving UE. Each reception opportunity of the plurality of reception opportunities includes a repetition of an SCI. The receiving UE decodes the SCI by combining the repetitions of the SCI received in one or more reception opportunities, and decodes a data transmission (e.g., a physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH) transmission) using the decoded SCI.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) and a network entity may communicate according to the capability of the network entity to transmit wireless energy transfer (WET) signals on communications resources as well as scheduling information for WET signals. A network entity may transmit control signaling indicating the capability of the network entity to support transmission of WET signals in a set of uplink resources and scheduling information for a set of WET signals. The network entity may also transmit scheduling information for a set of uplink transmissions for the UE. The network entity may transmit the WET signals to an energy harvesting device. The UE may transmit the set of uplink transmissions based on the indicated capability of the network entity to support transmission of WET signals in a set of uplink resources and the scheduling information for the set of WET signals.
