    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a user equipment (UE) may identify that the UE is capable of performing up to a maximum quantity of antenna panel switches within a slot. For example, the UE may be capable of switching from operating one or more first antenna panels to operating one or more second antenna panels up to a maximum quantity of times within a slot. In some aspects, the UE may transmit an indication of the UE capability to a base station. The base station, based on receiving the indication of the UE capability, may transmit activation signaling indicating one or more antenna panel switches at the UE within a slot that is less than or equal to the maximum quantity of antenna panel switches per slot indicated by the UE capability.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first wireless device may be configured to receive, from a second wireless device via a sidelink communication link, a sidelink control information (SCI) scheduling an uplink transmission from the first wireless device to the second wireless device. The first wireless device may then generate the uplink transmission based on the SCI. The first wireless device may then transit the uplink transmission to the second wireless device via the sidelink communication link in accordance with the SCI.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for radar signaling s are described. In some systems, devices may select radar parameters (e.g., frequency modulated continuous wave waveform parameters) to support coexistence for multiple radar sources in the system. To reduce mutual interference between radar waveforms in a system, a user equipment may detect interference from at least one interference source (e.g., another device transmitting a radar waveform) and may select waveform parameters for transmission of a radar waveform based on the detected interference. For example, the user equipment may determine slopes, frequency offsets, codewords, or a combination thereof used by nearby devices in the system (e.g., per chirp or for a waveform) and may select waveform parameters that result in low mutual interference with the determined slopes, frequency offsets, codewords, or combination thereof. The user equipment may transmit the radar waveform according to the selected waveform parameters.

    Abstract: In some aspects, a node may configure whether a set of soft time resources is to be conditionally released or unconditionally released. The set of soft time resources may be configurable in a schedulable state or a non-schedulable state. The set of soft time resources may be schedulable subject to at most a directionality constraint when unconditionally released and, when conditionally released, being schedulable subject to: the directionality constraint and one or more conditions other than the directionality constraint if the set of soft resources is configured subject to the directionality constraint, or at least one of the directionality constraint or the one or more conditions other than the directionality constraint if the set of soft resources is not configured subject to the directionality constraint. The node may transmit a configuration that indicates whether the set of soft time resources is conditionally released or unconditionally released in the schedulable state.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A communication device, such as, a base station and a UE may support transmitting and receiving information bits according to one or more index modulation schemes. For example, the communication device may support conveying information bits using a reference signal index modulation scheme, which uses reference signals transmissions using particular resources or reference signal sequences, or both, to convey the information bits. The communication device may improve reference signal resource usage by supporting a multi-mode reference signal index modulation scheme, which utilizes all reference signal resources to convey the information bits. By using the multi-mode reference signal index modulation scheme, the communication device may, as a result, include features for improvements to conveying information bits, among other benefits.

A first base station may receive, from a plurality of user equipments (UEs), a plurality of uplink signals that include feedback information for the plurality of UEs. A first UE of the plurality of UEs may be associated with the first base station and a second UE of the plurality of UEs may be associated with a second base station. The first base station may modify a plurality of sets of beam weights for a plurality of downlink signals, where each modified set of beam weights corresponds to a respective downlink signal of the plurality of downlink signals. The first base station may transmit, to the first UE, a first downlink signal of the plurality of downlink signals using a first modified set of beam weights of the of the plurality of sets of beam weights.
