Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some wireless communications systems, a user equipment (UE) may support communications with a set of transmission/reception points (TRPs). The UE may receive one or more signals from at least one TRP of the set of TRPs. The one or more signals may indicate a condition corresponding to the UE for the multi-TRP communications. The UE may determine the condition of the UE based on the one or more signals. The UE may communicate with one or more TRPs of the set of TRPs based on the one or more signals. For example, the UE may communicate with the one or more TRPs according to a multi-TRP communications configuration determined based on the condition of the UE.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus, and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for tracking channel variations via a model-based representation of the channel. A first network entity may receive from a second network entity or transmit to the second network entity, a model configuration indicative of a model condition of a channel between the first network entity and the second network entity. The model configuration may be associated with one or more initial parameters. The first network entity may receive a reference signal from the second network entity to measure a condition of the channel between the first network entity and the second network entity, and transmit, to the second network entity, one or more updated parameters for the model configuration based on a measurement of the condition of the channel in comparison to the model condition of the channel based on the model configuration.

Abstract: In multi-beam communication, the UE may assist in the scheduling of beams utilized during the multi-beam communication by improving the manner in which the quality of the beam is reported to the network. The apparatus may measure a signal received from a base station on at least one beam. The apparatus may detect a triggering event for providing CSI for the at least one beam. The apparatus may transmit an uplink transmission comprising a CSI report in response to detecting the triggering event. The apparatus may receive an uplink request from a UE for providing CSI for at least one beam. The apparatus may transmit an indication scheduling a CSI report in response to the uplink request. The apparatus may receive an uplink transmission from the UE comprising the CSI report for the at least one beam.

In a first aspect, a method of wireless communication includes transmitting an indication of a phase alignment associated with a first network node and a second network node at a first user equipment (UE), receiving, from the first network node, a first CJT component after transmitting the indication of the phase alignment, and receiving, from the second network node, a second CJT component after transmitting the indication of the phase alignment, wherein a first phase of the first CJT component is aligned with a second phase of the second CJT component. A base station may transmit a first downlink grant (e.g., a PDCCH transmission) for a first data transmission (e.g., a PDSCH transmission) over a first component carrier; the first data transmission over a second component carrier; and a second downlink grant (e.g., another PDCCH transmission) for a second data transmission (e.g., another PDSCH transmission) over the second component carrier. A user equipment (UE) receives the first data transmission over a first beam and may use the first beam for receiving the second data transmission. Additionally or alternatively, the UE may receive a configuration message indicating a set of TCI states for downlink data transmissions to the UE; identify one or more reference signals monitor for beam failure detection (BFD), identify one or more BFD beams, monitor the identified one or more reference signals; and selectively trigger a beam failure reporting procedure.
