Abstract: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) receives first timing advances and first power control commands from a first eNodeB and second timing advances and second power control commands from a second eNodeB and transmits, to the first eNodeB, a first physical uplink control channel using a first uplink component carrier. The first physical uplink control channel has a first timing adjusted by the first timing advances but not by the second timing advances and a first power level adjusted by the first power control commands but not by the second power control commands. The WTRU transmits a second physical uplink control channel using a second uplink component carrier. The second physical uplink control channel has a second timing adjusted by the second timing advances but not by the first timing advances and a second power level adjusted by the second power control commands but not by the first power control commands.

Abstract: A method and apparatus may be used in multi-AP and multi-wireless transmit/receive unit joint transmissions. The apparatus may provide an indication of support for joint transmission and coordinated sectorized or beamformed transmissions. The method and apparatus may also implement multi-AP/WTRU request-to-send (RTS)/clear-to-send (CTS) procedures. The apparatus may be configured to perform coordinated sectorized or beamforming grouping.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided for updating a sequence hopping (SH) pattern of an uplink channel during handover from a current cell having a current SH pattern. At least one downlink channel of each neighbor cell of the current cell is monitored. Information indicative of the monitored downlink channels of the neighbor cells is transmitted to the current cell. Prior to receiving a handover command from the current cell a target cell from among the neighbor cells is anticipated and a common downlink channel of the anticipated target cell is monitored to determine information representative of a target SH pattern of the target cell.

Abstract: A station may receive a frame transmitted to a plurality of STAs. The frame may indicate a first frequency resource allocated for the STA and a second frequency resource allocated for another STA of the plurality of STAs. The STA may transmit a data frame using the first frequency resource and receive an acknowledgement frame that acknowledges receipt of the data frame. The STA may receive a MU RTS frame transmitted to the plurality of STAs and may subsequently transmit a CTS frame in response to receipt of the MU RTS frame. The RTS/CTS transmissions may occur prior to transmission of the data frame.

The processor and the transceiver may take a measurement of a first signal of the plurality of signals. The transceiver may transmit a measurement report including the measurement of the first signal of the plurality of signals and the index of a respective one of the plurality of beams.

Abstract: A communication method implemented on a 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) communication network includes providing an attachment between a group member of a communication group and a group application server, detecting a detachment between the group member and the group application server, and reestablishing the attachment by the 3GPP communication network. A Mobility Management Entity (MME) may provide the attachment. A Group Communication Service Enabler Application Server (GCSE AS) or a Multipoint Service (MuSe) functionality may detect the detachment. The attachment may be reestablished according to the MuSe functionality. A group communication bearer may have a first priority level for allocating resources to the group communication bearer, and a second priority level for allocating resources to the non-group communication bearer. The second priority level may be different from the first priority level. Different Quality Control Indexes (QCIs) may be provided to the group communication bearer and the non-group communication bearer.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus are described. A station includes a transceiver and a processor, which detect a trigger frame for an uplink (UL) multi-user (MU) transmission. The trigger frame includes a user information field with an allocation of one or more random access resource units (RUs) and a common information field with information to set high efficiency (HE) SIGNAL-A (HE-SIG-A) fields in the UL MU transmission. The transceiver and the processor generate an HE trigger-based (TB) physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU) and set an HE-SIG-A field in the HE TB PPDU using the information in the trigger frame. The transceiver and the processor select one of the one or more random access RUs and transmit the HE TB PPDU, using the selected one of the one or more random access RUs, a short inter-frame space after the trigger frame.
