Abstract: A method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE). The apparatus identifies an overlap between resources for transmitting a scheduling request (SR) and a transmission occasion for transmitting hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback. The apparatus determines whether to transmit the SR or the HARQ feedback to a base station based on at least one of a type of the SR, a relationship between a first beam for an uplink control channel and a second beam for downlink communication, or a content of the HARQ feedback. Then, the apparatus transmits the SR or the HARQ feedback based the determination.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to wireless communications, and more particularly, to techniques for providing quantized channel state information (CSI) feedback that may be used to adjust transmission parameters for retransmissions after a negative acknowledgment. An example method performed by a user equipment (UE) generally includes generating hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback for a downlink transmission from a network entity, generating quantized channel state information (CSI) feedback, transmitting the HARQ feedback and quantized CSI feedback to the network entity in a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) transmission, and processing a retransmission of the downlink transmission, sent with transmission parameters adjusted based on the quantized CSI feedback if the HARQ feedback indicates a decoding failure.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of conflict conditions for identification of conflicts between uplink feedback messages and a communication frame structure, and may receive a downlink message within a set of semi-persistent downlink resources. The downlink message may be associated with a first uplink resource for transmitting a feedback for the downlink message, where the first uplink resource is included within a subband full-duplex (SBFD) slot that includes one or more uplink subbands. The UE may then transmit the feedback message via the first uplink resource or a second uplink resource that is deferred relative to the first uplink resource based on whether feedback deferral for the downlink message is triggered in accordance with the one or more conflict conditions the second uplink resource is included within a second slot that is subsequent to the subband full-duplex slot.

In some aspects, a user equipment may map channel state information (CSI) to first resource elements that are distributed in frequency, wherein the first resource elements are in a set of resources allocated on an uplink shared channel; map hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback to second resource elements that are distributed in frequency, wherein the second resource elements are in the set of resources; wherein the second resource elements are reserved for the HARQ feedback and are different from the first resource elements; and transmit the CSI and the HARQ feedback on the uplink shared channel in accordance with the mappings. Abstract: The aspects described herein may enable an apparatus to jointly encode two or more payloads using a single polar encoder device, while providing unequal error protection for the payloads. The apparatus causes a polar encoder to polar encode a first payload and a second payload to generate a polar encoded codeword. The polar encoder is configured to encode one or more bits of the first payload at a first reliability level and encode one or more bits of the second payload at a second reliability level, where the one or more bits of the first payload are associated with a first priority level and the one or more bits of the second payload are associated with a second priority level. The apparatus transmits the polar encoded codeword.

Abstract: A method of wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving, from a base station, a repetition configuration indicating a number of repetitions of physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) transmission. Abstract: A non-coherent communication system in which a transmitting device does not transmit a pilot/DMRS, such that the receiving device may be configured to determine or decode the information received from the transmitting device without performing any channel estimation. An apparatus for wireless communication at a receiving device receives, from a transmitting device, a non-coherent signal having data. The apparatus may determine data from the received signal without performing a channel estimation. In another aspect, an apparatus at a transmitting device divides an information payload including a set of bits into multiple subsets of bits, maps each of the multiple subsets of bits into a respective sequence of complex symbols, generates a non-coherent transmission signal based on the respective sequences, and transmits the non-coherent transmission signal to a receiving device.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, control signaling indicating a set of resources of a sidelink channel available for sidelink communication with a second UE. The first UE may receive a sidelink preemption indication indicating that at least a first resource from the set of resources is preempted. The first UE may communicate a sidelink transmission over the sidelink channel with the second UE based on the sidelink preemption indication. In some cases, the first UE may determine whether the SPI satisfies one or more thresholds and the first UE may communicate the sidelink transmission, or refrain from communicating the sidelink transmission, based on determining whether the SPI satisfies the one or more thresholds.
