The disclosure relates in some aspects to selecting a puncturing or repetition pattern. In some aspects, a puncture pattern for data encoding is selected based on a criterion that the output and the repetition input of an XOR are not erased. In some aspects, a repetition pattern for data encoding is selected based on a criterion that repetition not be applied for the output and the repetition input of an XOR.

摘要: A first device may select a base graph from a plurality of base graphs based on one or more of (a) a decoding complexity of a second device, (b) a device category of the second device, (c) a capability of the second device, (d) a decoder mode of the second device, (e) a receiver complexity of the second device, (f) a receiver mode of the second device, (g) a power consumption of the second device, (h) a power mode of the second device, or (i) an indication from the second device. The first device may output an LDPC coded transmission to the second device based on the selected base graph.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Techniques described herein for a probabilistically shaped message to meet a quality requirement of an empirical probability distribution of the probabilistic shaped message being close to a target probability distribution. The closeness of the empirical probability distribution to the target probability distribution may be measured with a distribution closeness metric that is compared to a threshold. The distribution closeness metric may quantify a difference between the empirical probability distribution and the target probability distribution. Additionally, the distribution closeness metric may quantify a difference between respective moments of one or more orders of the empirical probability distribution and the target probability distribution.

摘要: Certain aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may receive, from a base station, an indicator associated with a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process, wherein the indicator indicates a number of mini-slots to be bundled for a HARQ transmission of the HARQ process; and decode the HARQ transmission based at least in part on the mini-slots. In some aspects, a base station may transmit an indicator, associated with a HARQ process, to a user equipment, wherein the indicator indicates a number of mini-slots to be bundled for a HARQ transmission of the HARQ process; and transmit the HARQ transmission to the user equipment using the mini-slots. In some examples, a transmitting device may generate a parity check matrix based on performing a lifting operation on a base matrix. Each column of the base matrix may correspond to a different variable node and each row may correspond to a different check node. The transmitting device may then generate a set of coded bits based on the parity check matrix and each coded bit of the set of coded bits may be associated with a respective variable node. Further, the transmitting device may interleave the set of coded bits such that subsets of the set of coded bits associated with a same variable node are mapped to a same channel reliability level and transmit the set of coded bits according to the interleaving.

摘要: Aspects of the present disclosure provide a subframe structure for time division duplex (TDD) carriers that can be entirely self-contained. That is, information transmitted on a TDD carrier may be grouped into subframes, where each subframe provides communication in both directions (e.g., uplink and downlink) in a suitable fashion to enable such communication without needing any further information in another subframe. For example, a single subframe may include scheduling information, data information corresponding to the scheduling information, and acknowledgment information corresponding to the data information.

A user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration from a network entity for multiplexing a reference signal with a data signal in time and in frequency or for multiplexing the reference signal in a Doppler domain. The UE may receive an assignment of multiple time-frequency resources from the network entity for transmission of the reference signal. The UE may multiplex the reference signal across the assigned time-frequency resources in accordance with the received configuration. The UE may transmit the multiplexed reference signal to the network entity.

摘要: Systems and techniques are disclosed to enhance the efficiency of available bandwidth between UEs and base stations. A UE transmits a sounding reference signal (SRS) to the base station. The base station characterizes the uplink channel based on the SRS received and, using reciprocity, applies the channel characterization for the downlink channel. As part of applying the channel information, the base station forms the beam to the UE based on the uplink channel information obtained from the SRS. The UE may include an array of antennas, each UE transmitting a different SRS that the base station receives and uses to characterize the downlink. Multiple UEs (or a single UE with multiple antennas) transmit SRS at the same time and frequency allocation (non-orthogonal), but with each sending its own unique SRS. Further, multiple UEs (or a single UE with multiple antennas) may send their SRS at unique time/frequency allocations (orthogonal).

摘要: The present disclosure provides for adaptive resource management in new radio operations that adapts a numerology including a subcarrier spacing and/or cyclic prefix for a user equipment (UE) traveling at a high speed. A base station may transmit via a plurality of remote radio heads (RRH) to a user equipment (UE) is moving along a high speed track. The base station may transmit, in a first time period, using a first numerology including a first subcarrier spacing and a first cyclic prefix ratio, a first transmission for the UE. The base station may transmit, in a subsequent time period, using a second numerology including a second subcarrier spacing and a second cyclic prefix ratio, a second transmission for the UE. At least one of the second subcarrier spacing is different than the first subcarrier spacing or the second cyclic prefix ratio is different than the first cyclic prefix ratio.
