Abstract: The merocyanine compound of the present invention causes a spectral change of a hypochromic shift in the vicinity of the wavelength of 512 nm by intercalation between dsRNA nucleotide pairs, and the spectral change shows high accuracy and reproducibility, so the merocyanine compound of the present invention can be effectively used for detecting dsRNA and comparing the expression levels between samples. In addition, the present invention relates to a method for providing information for the diagnosis of cancer comprising the steps of 1) measuring the expression level of dsRNA in a sample of a test subject; and 2) comparing the expression level of dsRNA measured in step 1) with that of the normal control group, and a composition for detecting dsRNA comprising a merocyanine compound, a salt thereof or an isomer thereof. The present invention can provide information for the diagnosis of cancer by measuring the expression level of dsRNA separated from a sample of a test subject and comparing it with that of the normal control group. Further, the responsiveness of a patient to the treated drug can be predicted by treating the sample with a drug and measuring the expression level of dsRNA.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for separating and washing microparticles via a stratified co-flow of non-Newtonian fluid and Newtonian fluid, wherein the Newtonian fluid as well as the non-Newtonian fluid may flow into a transfer channel formed in a fluid chip at a predetermined flow rate ratio matching with an effective diameter of the target particles contained in the non-Newtonian fluid, thereby inducing a change in positions of particle focusing points with respect to the target particles within the stratified co-flow thereof formed in the transfer channel. As a result, it is possible to more easily separate only the target particles among the microparticles contained in the non-Newtonian fluid toward the Newtonian fluid without using an additional device and human power, or transfer the target particles contained in the non-Newtonian fluid toward the Newtonian fluid for washing the same. Accordingly, since native biofluids used in the studies and clinical experiments are mostly non-Newtonian fluid, it is possible to directly separate and wash the target particles without a need of changing a solution for containing cells/particles or additional diluting the same for executing experiments. If the native biofluids as the non-Newtonian fluid lack a relaxation time, any artificial polymer could be simply added thereto in order to increase the relaxation time, thereby greatly increasing an amount of treatment per time. Further, since high working efficiency can be achieved in a wide range of flow rate, high efficient separation and washing processes may be achieved by a simple hand work of pushing and pumping an injector alone, without any accurate pumping device.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a lipid nanoparticle complex comprising an aptide fused with a cell penetrating material and a use thereof. Particularly, the lipid nanoparticle complex according to the present invention contains long-chain and short-chain phospholipids, and comprises an aptide fused with a cell-penetrating material. In particular, when the long-chain and short-chain phospholipids are included in a specific molar ratio, the lipid nanoparticle complex exhibits a discoid structure. In addition, when the lipid nanoparticle complex comprises the aptide for STAT protein as an aptide, it has superior cell or skin cell permeability, delivers the aptide to the dermal layer to show treatment effect on psoriasis without side effects, inhibits the expression of fibrosis-related genes increased by TGF-β, and attenuates symptoms of pulmonary fibrosis in in vivo model. Thus, the lipid nanoparticle complex according to the present invention can be effectively used as a carrier for various aptides.

Abstract: In a method of manufacturing a biomimetic highly stretchable conductive dry adhesive patch, a mold including a plurality of holes is provided by etching a semiconductor substrate including an insulation layer based on a footing effect. A conductive polymer composite is provided by dispersing mixed conductive fillers in a liquid elastomer. The mixed conductive fillers are formed by mixing one-dimensional conductive fillers and two-dimensional conductive fillers. The conductive polymer composite is applied on the mold such that the conductive polymer composite is injected into the plurality of holes. A conductive dry adhesive structure including a plurality of micropillars corresponding to the plurality of holes is obtained by performing a post-treatment on the conductive polymer composite applied on the mold and by removing the mold. Each of the plurality of micropillars includes a body portion and a tip portion. The tip portion has a spatula shape, is formed on the body portion, and has an area larger than that of the body portion in a plan view.
