A portable computer includes a host, a supporting frame, a displayer, two latches and a drive member. The supporting frame is pivotally connected with the host and having a straight sliding slot and a curved sliding slot. The displayer has two sliding members, which are pivotally connected with the supporting frame and slidably connected with the straight sliding slot and the curved sliding slot respectively. The displayer is operable to rotate relative to the supporting frame by either one of the two sliding members as a pivot. The two latches are slidably connected with the supporting frame. The drive member is slidably connected with the two latches and operable to control where either one of the two latches is located.
Abstract:
A foldable electronic device with an antenna including a first body, a second body, a pivotal mechanism, an antenna and a driving element is provided. The first body has a holding recess on one side thereof. The second body is located on the other side of the first body. The pivotal mechanism is used to pivotally connect the first body to the second body. Two sides of the driving element are connected to the pivotal mechanism and the antenna, respectively. When the first body is opened relatively to the second body, the pivotal mechanism drives the driving element to generate a first linear displacement. The first linear displacement drives the antenna to have a second rotation displacement to allow the antenna to extend out of the receiving groove.

A computer system and overclock controlling method and program thereof, which includes steps of providing an overclock work voltage to a CPU when overclock is requested, then the CPU adjusts its clock domain according to the overclock work voltage. The overclock work voltage is a sum of a normal work voltage and an additional external voltage, by which the CPU may enter an overclock mode (a frequency of a clock domain signal is higher than a standard frequency value). Eventually, when the frequency of the clock domain signal of the CPU is in a stable status during the overclock mode, the work voltage for the CPU is reduced and the CPU keeps working in the overclock mode.

A display module includes a display panel and a reaction device. The reaction device includes a feedback unit array and a control unit. The feedback unit array has multiple feedback units to be arranged on the display panel in an array to divide the display area into multiple sub display areas, and each sub display area corresponds to one of the feedback units, respectively. When one of the sub display areas is touched, the control unit outputs a control signal to the feedback unit array, and the feedback unit corresponding to the touched sub display area generate a microcurrent.
Abstract:
The invention discloses a circuit board. The circuit board includes a body having an electric component holding portion according to the invention. A plurality of groups of fixing holes for fixing various types of heat dissipating devices are formed on the body adjacent to the electric component holding portion. With such a systematized layout, as a result, the number of fixing holes arranged is increased to improve the compatibility of circuit board for various heat dissipating devices, in spite of a limited space allowed on the circuit board.
Abstract:
A method for determining a disk type is provided. In the invention, a pickup head of a DVD optical drive is moved to a blank area of the disk where no data is stored. After rotation of the disk is stopped, the blank area is irradiated with a laser beam, and reflective signals reflected from a surface layer and a reflective layer of the disk are measured respectively. According to a time difference between the two reflective signals, the type of the disk placed in the DVD optical drive is determined. Therefore misjudgment because of effects of pits in a data area of the disk on the reflective signals can be avoided, so that the disk type can be accurately determined.

A motherboard which can play an image or a video in a power-off state is disclosed. The motherboard includes a circuit board, a north bridge chipset, a digital photo frame chipset, and a switch unit. The north bridge chipset, the digital photo frame chipset, and the switch unit are disposed on the circuit board. The digital photo frame chipset is activated according to a stand-by power in the power-off state. The switch unit is electrically connected with the north bridge chipset and the digital photo frame chipset, respectively. The switch unit electrically communicates with the north bridge chipset or the digital photo frame chipset according to a triggering signal. The motherboard may utilize the stand-by power in the power-off state to display an image by a display device via the digital photo frame chipset and the north bridge chipset when a computer system is powered off.

A sliding cover faceplate and an electronic device using the same are provided. The sliding cover faceplate includes a sliding cover, a cover plate, and a sliding structure. The cover plate is provided on the electronic device, and the sliding cover is disposed on one side of the cover plate. The sliding structure includes a guiding portion and an elastic positioning portion. The guiding portion is disposed on the cover plate and is connected to the sliding cover to guide the sliding cover to slide between a first location and a second location on the cover plate. The elastic positioning portion connects the cover plate with the sliding cover to provide an elastic force to the sliding cover, such that when the sliding cover slides close to the first location or the second location, the sliding cover is automatically positioned on the first location or the second location.

A sharing system for a hardware device cooperates with a first client host with a first operating system having a hardware driver to generate a management requirement to drive the hardware device. The sharing system according to the invention includes a first server host which may be coupled with a first client host and has a second operating system. The server host may be installed with a pseudo hardware driver to drive the hardware device according to the management requirement generated from the first server host.
