Abstract: A pump assembly (1) includes a rotor axle (45) extending along a rotor axis (R), an impeller (12) fixed to the rotor axle (45), a pump housing (11) accommodating the impeller (12), and a drive motor including a stator (17) and a rotor (51). The rotor (51) is fixed to the rotor axle (45) for driving the impeller (12). A rotor can (57) accommodates the rotor (51). The rotor can (57) include a rotor can flange (63). A stator housing (13) accommodates the stator (17). The stator housing (13) is secured to the pump housing (11) by a bayonet ring (113). The bayonet ring (113) is resiliently spring-loaded for axially biasing the stator housing (13) towards the impeller (12) against the pump housing (11).

An error signal (e) is produced from the detected variable (Dp, p, T, xp) on the basis of a sectionwise monotonic function. On the basis of the error signal, the speed (n) of the pump assembly (10, 12) is controlled.

Abstract: A cylindrical mounting sleeve suitable for mounting a rotor assembly on a shaft, said cylindrical mounting sleeve comprising a hollow cylindrical portion having a length L and an inner surface with a radius R, said cylindrical mounting sleeve further comprising at least one elongated protrusion formed on the inner surface, the elongated protrusion having a height H. The path of the elongated protrusion forms an angle A to the longitudinal centre axis of the hollow cylindrical portion, said angle A being greater than 5 degrees and less than 70 degrees. In this way, a mounting sleeve is provided which reduces the damage during mounting of the sleeve on the shaft. This reduces imbalance in the rotor assembly. The invention also relates to a rotor assembly comprising such a cylindrical mounting sleeve.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and a method for abating the presence of a selected chemical substance in wastewater flowing in a wastewater channel system from an upstream position to a downstream position. The method typically comprising dosing into the wastewater, at the upstream position, chemical agent(s) adapted to abate the presence of said selected chemical substance, wherein the dosing is in an amount set by a dosing set-point, and adjusting the dosing set-point based on determinations of the concentration of the selected chemical substance at the downstream position. The invention involves comparison between a determined concentration and a pre-selected fractile and adjusting a dosing set-point based thereon.

A solar heating system includes the pump system.
