    Abstract: A computing device may perform a method that includes graphically presenting a plurality of virtual routing and forwarding (VRF) elements which represent a plurality of stored VRF profiles, with each VRF element presenting profile data from one of the plurality of stored VRF profiles. The method may further include receiving input selecting a VRF element which represents and presents profile data from a selected stored VRF profile and receiving input modifying the profile data presented by the selected VRF element. A VRF profile may be generated, for a networking device of a networking infrastructure, based on the selected stored VRF profile and the input modifying the profile data presented by the selected VRF element. Thereafter, a VRF element may be graphically presented which represents and presents profile data from the generated VRF profile for the networking device.

    Abstract: In some examples, a controller for air and liquid cooling of electrical equipment is provided. The controller can include a cooling profile assignment module to assign a hybrid cooling profile based on temperature readings of electrical equipment; an air cooling control module to control a forced airflow cooling system for the electrical equipment in accordance with the assigned hybrid cooling profile; and a liquid cooling control module to control a liquid cooling system for the electrical equipment in accordance with the assigned hybrid cooling profile. The assigned hybrid cooling profile can indicate that the forced airflow cooling system is to be used as a primary cooling system for the electrical equipment unless temperature readings indicate that a heat profile of the electrical equipment is above a thermal threshold.

    Abstract: A system for dynamically activating a virtual network is provided. During operation, the system can operate a switch as a tunnel endpoint of a tunnel in conjunction with a remote switch. The tunnel can facilitate a virtual private network (VPN) spanning the switch and the remote switch. The system can maintain an inactive state for a virtual local area network (VLAN) and a corresponding tunnel network identifier identifying the VLAN for the tunnel. If a notification indicating the activation of the VLAN at a downstream switch is received by the switch, the system can activate the VLAN at the switch. The system can then activate the tunnel network identifier in a routing process of the VPN, thereby enabling sharing of a media access control (MAC) address associated with the VLAN via the tunnel.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for determining, at a beamformee, to transmit data signals from transmitting spatial streams at one or more beamformers. Next, a gain resulting from an uplink transmit beamforming protocol may be determined to exceed an overhead of the transmit beamforming protocol. In response to the determination, the uplink transmit beamforming protocol may be conducted. This protocol includes, transmitting trigger frames to the beamformers to obtain channel data regarding channels between each of the transmitting antennae and the active receiving antennae, receiving responses to the trigger frames from each of the beamformers, generating the channel data based on the received responses, feeding back the channel data to each of the beamformers, scheduling the uplink transmit beamforming protocol based on the channel data, and receiving an integrated data signal from the beamformers based on a processing of the data signals via the uplink transmit beamforming protocol.

    Abstract: In embodiments of the present disclosure, there is provided an approach for channel sounding. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, if the CSI change rate exceeds a first threshold, the AP may disable the beamforming. If the CSI change rate does not exceed the first threshold but exceeds a second threshold below the first threshold, the AP may perform the channel sounding at a first time interval. Otherwise, if the CSI change rate does not exceed the second threshold, the AP may perform the channel sounding at a second time interval. Embodiments of the present disclosure provide an effective way for channel sounding.

    Abstract: A method for establishing and controlling a connection of a user equipment (UE) to a radio access network (RAN) included in a heterogeneous wireless network (HWN), including: selecting, via the UE, a RAN from a plurality of heterogeneous RANs detected by the UE based at least in part on a first set of parameters; establishing connection of the UE to the selected RAN; and determining, via a heterogeneous management controller, whether to persist connection of the UE to the selected RAN. Determining whether to persist connection of the UE to the selected RAN includes monitoring a plurality of attributes associated with at least one of the UE, the selected RAN, and the connection between the UE and the selected RAN; and evaluating the plurality of attributes based on a second set of parameters, the second set of parameters being different from the first set of parameters.
