Abstract: A ship steering device includes a handle which is mechanically separated from a rudder mechanism, a steering angle detecting unit that detects a steering angle of the handle, a rudder motor that drives the rudder mechanism, and a turn controller that controls, based on a steering characteristics map which associates a basic relation between the steering angle and a turn angle, the rudder motor so as to obtain the turn angle in accordance with the steering angle. The steering characteristics map has a characteristic such that, in a second steering region where the steering angle is larger than the steering angle in a first steering region, a change amount of the turn angle relative to the steering angle is large with respect to the first steering region where the steering angle is set from zero in advance.

Abstract: A travel control device that prevents malfunctioning of an intersection AEB system is provided. The travel control device includes a sensor that detects the front side, and a control unit that controls a brake, based on information from the sensor. When determining that a host vehicle is going to traverse an intersection and make a turn, the control unit carries out control for controlling the brake when the speed of an oncoming vehicle is equal to or higher than a given threshold. When determining that the oncoming vehicle detected by the sensor is going to traverse the intersection and make a turn, the control unit increases the threshold.

Abstract: A physical quantity detecting device (10) detects a plurality of different physical quantities on the basis of an output signal waveform. A strain sensor (3) as one sensor element outputs a sensor signal waveform (15) having a reference level (151), a positive level positively changing from the reference level (151), and a negative level negatively changing from the reference level (151). An estimating unit (4) estimates a first physical quantity corresponding to a peak value (152) of the positive level and a second physical quantity corresponding to a peak value (153) of the negative level on the basis of the sensor signal waveform (15) output by the strain sensor (3).

Abstract: To provide an airflow amount measuring device capable of accurately measuring a flow amount of air without occurrence of warpage in a thin film portion when an airflow measuring element is mounted on a lead frame to form a resin-sealed package in which the airflow amount measuring element and the lead frame are sealed. A chip package includes a lead frame, an element mounted on the lead frame and having a detection portion, and a structure for sealing the lead frame and the element such that at least the detection portion is exposed. Then, the curvature radius ρ of the exposed portion of the element exposed from the sealing resin member is 2.13 or less.

Abstract: The vehicle 1 includes a tow vehicle 2 and a loading platform 3. The loading platform 3 includes a ROM 23 storing loading platform information including a loading platform type and a plurality of first external sensors 8 that detect an object around the loading platform 3. The tow vehicle 2 acquires the loading platform type from the loading platform 3 and includes an ADAS ECU 10 that performs a driving assist of the vehicle 1 based on the acquired loading platform type and a plurality of second external sensors 9 that detect an object around the tow vehicle 2. The ADAS ECU 10 converts the acquired detection data of each of the first external sensors 8 from a sensor coordinate system of each first external sensor to a loading platform coordinate system, further converts from the loading platform coordinate system to the tow vehicle coordinate system, integrates detection data of the first external sensor 8 and detection data of the second external sensor 9 into the tow vehicle coordinate system, and calculates the relative position and the relative speed of the detected object based on the integrated detection data.
