One side of the cable is connected with the power adaptor. The cable collector includes a first board, a first power connector, and two first blocking boards. The first board is connected with a first surface of the power adaptor. The first power connector is formed on the first board. The first board is connected with the power adaptor via the first power connector. The two first blocking boards are formed on two sides of the first board.
Abstract:
A method and a system for protecting data are provided. When a computer system is powered on, a verification code is compared with a predetermined verification code. If the verification code matches the predetermined verification code, an encrypted configuration data stored in a configuration data block of a storage device is decrypted with the verification code to obtain an original configuration data of the storage device. Thereby, data loss is effectively prevented and a data protection mechanism is provided.
Abstract:
The invention provides an apparatus and a method for displaying a GPS interface. The apparatus of the invention includes a GPS module and a processing module. The GPS module is capable of generating a command and the GPS interface. Furthermore, the processing module is coupled to the GPS module for detecting the command and selectively displaying the GPS interface on a display according to the command.
Abstract:
A navigation display system includes a navigation device, a projection module and a remote-controlled module. The navigation device has a screen. The projection module is pivotally connected with and rotatable relative to the navigation device to project an image displayed on the screen onto a projection screen. The remote-controlled module is disposed on a direction steering unit of a vehicle to control the navigation device.
Abstract:
A program information prompting method and apparatus and a television set using the same are provided. In the method, a user is identified at first. Then, a watching habit of the user is recorded. Next, program preference of the user is determined according to the watching habit. Afterwards, a prompt of related program information is given according to the user's program preference.
Abstract:
A power on control device and method are used at an adaptor providing a constant voltage. The power on control device includes a first voltage converting circuit, a second voltage converting circuit, a third voltage converting circuit, and a comparison module. The first voltage converting circuit receives the constant voltage and generates a reference voltage. The second voltage converting circuit receives the constant voltage and generates operating voltages. The third voltage converting circuit receives the operating voltages and generates preparatory voltages corresponding to the operating voltages according to the operating voltages. The comparison module outputs a power good signal when all the preparatory voltages are larger than the reference voltage.
Abstract:
The invention provides a motherboard and an interface control method of a memory slot thereof. The motherboard includes a plurality of slot groups, a bus, and an interface controller. Each of the slot groups includes a first memory slot and a second memory slot connected with the bus. The first memory slot and the second memory slot form two different access addresses. The interface controller transmits a plurality of pin control signals to the corresponding slot groups to make the two access addresses of the first memory slot and the second memory slot of a using slot group of the slot groups different from the two access addresses of the first memory slot and the second memory slot of each of the other slot groups. Then, the interface controller accesses the using slot group via the bus.
Abstract:
A multi-phase voltage regulator module connects to a central processing unit and is able to operate in one of a high-load mode and a low-load mode. The multi-phase voltage regulator module comprises: a pulse-width-modulation controller generating a plurality of phase-width-modulation signals; and, a plurality of phase circuits, each of which receives a corresponding one of the phase-width-modulation signals and generates a corresponding output current to the central processing unit; wherein a first portion of the phase circuits are activated when the multi-phase voltage regulator module is operated in the low-load mode at a first time, and, a second portion of the phase circuits are activated when the multi-phase voltage regulator module is operated in the low-load mode at a second time, the first portion being non-identical to the second portion.
Abstract:
A memorandum-information presenting method and a computer system using the method are provided. The computer system allows the memorandum-information to be presented and/or edited during a booting procedure, for example, while executing BIOS codes, initializing various components, checking hardware, allocating resources, or assisting to load an operating system. Accordingly, a user may read or edit the information without waiting for the computer system to successfully enter an operating system.
Abstract:
A fixing device for detachably fastening an electronic element inside thereof is described. Two fastening modules are respectively disposed on the two opposite inner walls of a housing. A positioning disk is rotatably connected with the positioning frame and has a concave section with a pair of inner side surfaces. The positioning disk is disposed between the first pair of positioning surfaces while the positioning disk is disposed between the second pair of positioning surfaces. When the positioning disk is at a first position, the pair of inner side surfaces is aligned with the first pair of positioning surfaces to allow the electronic element to be inserted between. When the positioning disk is rotated from the first position to the second position, the pair of inner side surfaces is aligned with the second pair of positioning surfaces, and the first and second connection members engage each other to fasten the electronic element.
