    摘要: The invention concerns a clamp (1) for joining two connecting elements (2, 3) with abutting faces oriented transverse to a centre axis of the connecting elements. The clamp comprises a first and a second clamp element (4, 5) which are connected to each other by a pivot arrangement (6) and arranged for positioning around an area where the two connecting elements are to be joined. The clamp is provided with a locking device (9) to secure the connecting elements together when used, and the clamp is provided with an actuating device (10) which is arranged to actuate the locking device in between a locking position and a release position. The invention also concerns methods for releasing a clamp.

    摘要: A closed operation subsea well tool assembly with a flushing system flushing a first fluid in the main bore (15) of the tool assembly (1). The flushing system of the tool assembly comprises a container (19) with a second fluid, a pump (2), a swab valve (20) in the top of the main bore (15), an inlet (3) in the bottom of the main bore of the tool assembly, which is connected to the pump. Outlet(s) (5a, 6a) are below the swab valve, configured to guide out the first fluid from the main bore. A fluid channel (7) extends from the outlet (5a, 6a) and down to channels of the wellhead module (10) or the wellhead (31). Methods using the tool assembly are also disclosed.

    摘要: A method of operating a system (16) for pumping a fluid, which system comprises: a pump (17) for pumping the fluid; and a variable speed motor (20) for driving the pump (17). The method comprises the steps of: identifying a first system parameter (PI); identifying a second system parameter (P2) which is a function of the torque of the pump; setting a target value (P10) for a first system parameter; monitoring the first system parameter (PI); establishing a target value (P20) for the second system parameter based on the difference between the target value and the measured value of the first system parameter; monitoring the second system parameter; and regulating the rotational speed of the pump such that the difference between the monitored value and the target value of the second system parameter is minimized. A system for implementing the method is also disclosed.

    摘要: A connector includes a cylindrical body and a plurality of longitudinal latching fingers arranged around the body. Each finger has a first end region which includes a first latching structure, a second end region and an intermediate region. Each finger is pivotally supported at the intermediate region and is movable between a non-latching position and a latching position. An actuating device is operable to force the second end region of each finger towards the body by exerting a force on at least a portion of the second end region. The actuating device includes a force-imparting member which cooperates with a force-receiving region located on the second end region. The force-receiving region includes a first outer surface portion which is curved radially outwardly to define an apex and a trough, the latter being located between the apex and the intermediate region and configured to accommodate the force-imparting member.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for determining the flow rates of a multi-component fluid mixture is disclosed. The temperature and pressure of the multi-component mixture is determined. The fractions of the multi-component mixture are determined based on at least two measured physical properties of the mixture and knowledge of the same physical property of the individual components. The velocity of the multi component mixture is determined. The flow rate of the individual component of the fluid is determined. An electromagnetic measurement is performed. A statistical parameter related to the electromagnetic measurement is calculated and compared to an empirical derived threshold value corresponding to the value of the statistical parameter when only one of the components of the multi component mixture is present. The thickness of unwanted deposits on the pipe wall is determined and an improved flow rate determination of the individual components of the fluid is obtained.
