    摘要: Dynamic/static sealing of coiled tubing subsea for pipeline and well access with hydrostatic conditions up to 10,000 feet water depth while maintaining wellbore or pipeline pressures up to 10,000 psi may be achieved using a system comprising a subsea fluid source which utilizes a riserless open water coiled tubing system and an open water coiled tubing sealer to control hydrostatic pressure and fluid container pressures. This comprises an upper well control assembly having a first geometric orientation and a lower well control assembly in fluid communication with the upper well control assembly aligned in a second geometric orientation substantially inverted to the first orientation; a quick disconnect connector in fluid communication with the upper well control assembly; one or more electrically powered subsea assist jacks operatively connected to the quick disconnect connector; a controller operatively in communication with the electrically powered subsea assist jacks; and a power connector operatively in communication with the source of electrical power, the controller, and the electrically powered subsea assist jack.

    摘要: The present invention provides a nonresident system for depressurizing subsea apparatus and lines comprising a depressurizing tool (5) adapted for being coupled to an ROV interface (6) of a subsea apparatus, wherein the depressurizing tool (5) is coupled to an ROV (4), wherein: the ROV interface (6) comprises a first pipeline (6a) for connection to a first hydrocarbon transport line (8), a second pipeline (6b) for connection to second hydrocarbon transport line (9), and a connection mandrel (6d); and the depressurizing tool (5) comprises a suction line (5a) adapted for being connected to the first pipeline (6a) for connection to the first hydrocarbon transport line; a discharge line (5b) adapted for being connected to the second pipeline (6b) for connection to the second hydrocarbon transport line; a pump (5c); and a connector (5d) adapted for being connected to the connection mandrel (6d) of the ROV interface (6). A method is also provided for depressurizing subsea apparatus and lines, comprising the steps of: removing a blind cap (15) from an ROV interface (6) with aid of an ROV (4); coupling a depressurizing tool (5) to the ROV interface (6) of a subsea apparatus (10); suction and removal of fluid from a first hydrocarbon transport line, wherein the first hydrocarbon transport line comprises hydrate formation; and pressurizing and reinjecting the fluid into a second hydrocarbon transport line.

    摘要: A retrievable and retrofittable subsea hydraulic dump valve assembly for a subsea oil and gas production system including at least one hydraulic selector valve including a solenoid and a spring. The hydraulic selector valve converts a first hydraulic pressure supply line into a primary hydraulic pressure supply line and a second hydraulic pressure supply line into a pilot line and a backup hydraulic pressure supply line. In a first operating configuration the hydraulic selector valve channels a first flow of hydraulic fluid from the first hydraulic pressure supply line to the critical control valve actuators to maintain the critical control valve actuators in the open configuration. In a second operating configuration the hydraulic selector valve channels the flow of hydraulic fluid to the subsea environment at a local venting location to reconfigure the critical control valve actuators into a closed configuration.

A second riser section comprises a passive fracture section that is specifically designed to shear or fracture under design conditions, such as extreme events (e.g., extreme weather or waves, loss of control of a rig or vessel, a rig or vessel moving from a desired position). The passive fracture section is designed to fracture first to prevent or minimize damage to other well equipment, such as at the seabed.
