    Abstract: Disclosed herein are an apparatus and a method for route guidance. The method for route guidance includes receiving a destination from a user; determining a current position of a vehicle; calculating a driving route from the current position to the destination; when an intersection exists within in a predetermined distance on the driving route while performing the route guidance according to the calculated driving route, confirming a ranking of a search link positioned on the calculated driving route among search links exiting from an end node existing on the intersection; comparing rotation direction information of the search link corresponding to the confirmed ranking of the search link with moving direction information of a lane on which the vehicle is positioned; and performing lane change guidance of the vehicle according to a comparison result of the rotation direction information and the moving direction information.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for displaying lane information of an electronic device. The method for displaying lane information according to the present disclosure includes: acquiring an image photographed while a vehicle is driving; dividing the acquired image according to a distance from the vehicle; detecting lane display lines in the divided areas; calve-fitting the detected lane display lines to a continuous curve; and displaying the curve-fitted curve on a predetermined user interface. According to the present disclosure, it is possible to improve the route visibility to the driver by recognizing the far-distance lane by determining whether the vehicle is in the driving lane. In addition, it is possible to more accurately provide the route guidance information by using the real-time lane recognition results for the display of the route guidance.

The method for measuring a position includes: determining a GPS satellite visible area and a GPS satellite invisible area depending on whether or not an area is an area in which a predetermined number or more of GPS satellites are observable; measuring a position of a moving object on the basis of a first position measuring scheme using GPS satellites in the case in which the moving object enters the GPS satellite visible area; and measuring the position of the moving object on the basis of at least one of the first position measuring scheme and a second position measuring scheme other than the first position measuring scheme in the case in which the moving object enters the GPS satellite invisible area.
