摘要: A system for navigating a vehicle may include a processor programmed to receive an output provided by a vehicle sensor, and determine a navigational maneuver for the vehicle along a road segment based on the output provided by the vehicle sensor. The processor may also be programmed to determine a yaw rate command and a speed command for implementing the navigational maneuver. The processor may also be programmed to determine a first vehicle steering angle based on the yaw rate and speed commands using a first control subsystem, and determine a second vehicle steering angle based on the yaw rate and speed commands using a second control subsystem. The processor may further be programmed to determine an overall steering command for the vehicle based on a combination of the first and second steering angles, and cause an actuator associated with the vehicle to implement the overall steering command.

When the rotational speed of the internal combustion engine is less than the threshold, the first start control unit starts the internal combustion engine. When the rotational speed of the internal combustion engine is equal to or higher than the threshold, the second start control unit starts the internal combustion engine.

摘要: A navigation system includes a server apparatus connected to vehicles via a network and a navigation apparatus connected to the server apparatus via the network. The server apparatus receives, from a first vehicle, traffic-related information related to snow on a road on which the first vehicle has traveled or slipperiness of the road, and location information of the road; generates difficulty information for the road related to a travel difficulty caused by the snow or the slipperiness; and transmits the difficulty information and the location information to the navigation apparatus movable together with a second vehicle identical to or different from the first vehicle. The navigation apparatus receives the difficulty information and the location information; sets a traffic regulation for passage of the second vehicle through the road; and sets, for the second vehicle, a travel route based on the traffic regulation.

摘要: A perception and map edge association system for an autonomous vehicle includes one or more controllers executing instructions to receive a plurality of perception lane edge candidates that are each representative of a perception lane edge and a plurality of map lane edge candidates that are each representative of a map lane edge. The one or more controllers identify a discrepancy between a selected perception lane edge candidate and a best fit map edge candidate for a lane characteristic based on a posterior association probability matrix and a discrepancy flag. The one or more controllers segment the pair of inconsistent perception and map lane edges into one or more matching segments. The one or more matching segments indicate where the perception lane edge and the map lane edge match one another based on the lane characteristics. The perception and map edge association system improves localization and scene creation performance.

The health risk probability is a probability that the occupant of the vehicle has the health condition. The controller is further programmed to notify the occupant of the vehicle in response to determining that the health risk probability is greater than or equal to a predetermined health risk threshold.

摘要: A ground plane fitting method applied to a vehicle-mounted device is provided. In the method, the vehicle-mounted device acquires a plurality of point clouds of a scene front of a vehicle along a traveling direction and a target image and determines a set of ground point clouds corresponding to the target image according to the plurality of point clouds and the target image. The vehicle-mounted device further obtains multiple ground normal vectors by correcting multiple normal vectors of multiple cameras using to acquire the target images; and fits the ground plane in the traveling direction of the vehicle according to the set of ground point clouds and the obtained ground normal vectors to obtain a fitted ground plane. The method can improve an accuracy of the obtained ground normal vector, thereby effectively improving the accuracy of fitting the ground plane and assisting the safe of the self-driving vehicle.

摘要: A vehicular control system is presented where the contact patches of the vehicle have reduced impact on an environment. Vehicular control systems include force sensors and terrain sensors that provide real-time or near real-time information about the operating environment of a vehicle. The force sensor data may be used to derive one or more forces which can be used to infer the nature of the vehicles contact patches. As the vehicular control system detects changes in a terrain attribute from the terrain sensors, the vehicular control system determines what the contact patches should be to address the terrain change and determines the necessary forces to give rise to the target contact patches. The vehicular control systems may then adjust the operational parameter values of the vehicle to generate the target contact patches to thereby reduce the impact on the environment.
