    摘要: An extension tool is disclosed and comprises a first pole and a second pole. The second pole is slidably received within the first pole. The second pole has a plurality of apertures. A pin is coupled to the first pole and is slidably positioned into a protruded position for engaging into the plurality of apertures of the second pole for terminating displacement of the first pole relative to the second pole. The pin is slidably positioned into a retracted position for disengaging with the plurality of apertures of the second pole for permitting displacement of the first pole relative to the second pole. A device, tool or support may be secured to the second end of the second pole.

The wire support comprises a plurality of wires with each of the wires having a lower section, an intermediate section and an upper section. The plurality of wires are twisted along the intermediate sections for providing an upright support. The lower sections of the plurality of wires extend outwardly from the upright support for insertion into the base surface to mount the wire support. The upper section of the plurality of wires extends outwardly from the upright support for engaging with the object to support the object relative to the base surface.

    摘要: A hose reel device is disclosed for supporting and transporting a hose. The hose reel device comprises a frame. A support beam extends within the frame. A spool includes a hub interposed between a first flange plate and a second flange plate for winding the hose on the spool. The hub of the spool rotatably engages the support beam for rotating the spool relative to the frame. The hub of the spool and the frame define a perpendicular angle. A wheel rotatably engages the frame for transporting the hose reel device over a surface in an oblique position and pivoting the spool between a horizontal position and a vertical position relative to the surface. The horizontal position defines a first optimal position for winding the hose about the spool. The vertical position defines a second optimal position for propelling a fluid between a holding tank and a storage tank.

    摘要: An optical device and method is disclosed for forming the optical device within the wide-bandgap semiconductor substrate. The optical device is formed by directing a thermal energy beam onto a selected portion of the wide-bandgap semiconductor substrate for changing an optical property of the selected portion to form the optical device in the wide-bandgap semiconductor substrate. The thermal energy beam defines the optical and physical properties of the optical device. The optical device may take the form of an electro-optical device with the addition of electrodes located on the wide-bandgap semiconductor substrate in proximity to the optical device for changing the optical property of the optical device upon a change of a voltage applied to the optional electrodes. The invention is also incorporated into a method of using the optical device for remotely sensing temperature, pressure and/or chemical composition.
