摘要: An improved pole support base mounted to a dock has means to pivot a housing supporting an inserted flexible pole and means to lock the pivoted pole in a vertical position to clear the pole from interfering with a vessel leaving from or returning to the dock. The pivotable housing and pole are manually lowered down to a determined desired degree to position the flexible pole and a line or rope that passes around a pulley at the end of the pole and is attached to a boat cleat to prevent possible damage owing to the vessel contacting the dock.

摘要: The present invention discloses a mooring device and operating method thereof. Specifically, the mooring device mainly comprises engaging module and a pressure control module. The engaging module comprises at least one actuator, at least one piston unit and at least one vacuum cup. Moreover, when a mooring object contacts the at least one actuator and actuates the at least one piston unit, the pressure control module may control the vacuum level therebetween the at least one vacuum cup and the mooring object. Therefore, the mooring device and its operating method of the present invention use the force which is provided by the mooring object per se to determine whether to moor the mooring object or not.

摘要: An in-situ bollard tester. The in-situ bollard tester may comprise: a frame, cable, and tensioner. The frame may mount onto a pier and around a bollard to provide structural support for the cable and tensioner. The frame may comprise a pair of base assemblies and a spreader bar. Each of the base assemblies may comprise a support frame and a cantilever arm, and the spreader bar may be coupled to the pair of base assemblies. A pair of jacks are coupled near proximal corners of the base assemblies. The tensioner may comprise a pair of hydraulic arms having first ends coupled near a proximal end of the base assemblies and a linear crossmember coupled to the second ends of the hydraulic arms. The cable may fasten to the bollard, and the tensioner may apply tension to the cable at various load angles in order to test the integrity of the bollard.

The system includes the line attached to a portion of a dock and a line tending unit configured for selectively operating in a stowed state and in a deployed state. 摘要: Described is an apparatus for securing a boat to a dock or other marine structure that moves with the boat as the boat is raised and lowered by waves or the tide. The apparatus is secured to a dock or other marine structure and includes a track, preferably in a shape similar to that of an “I” beam, a carriage that moves along the track, and a bumper that is attached to a front portion of the carriage. The boat is secured to either a mooring line or mooring cleat on the carriage. As the boat is raised or lowered by waves or the tide, the carriage is also raised or lowered along the track accordingly. The bumper is secured to the outside of the carriage and prevents the boat from being damaged if the boat collides with the bumper.

摘要: A ground mounting assembly includes one or a plurality of posts, each attached to at least one stabilizing plate or scoop pyramid. The post may be driven into the ground and then lifted to deploy plates into a locking mechanism, or driven into the ground by a pile driver with plate held in place, released, and driven further and deployed into a locking mechanism, or driven into the ground and double pounded inside the post to drive reinforcing plate into slotted winglets, or driven, double pounded and rotated to extend the reinforcing plates horizontally from the pole or pile. The post also can used as a mooring in harbors, lakes, or at sea. A system based on a double pounder pile driven mono pole, optionally extendable in length, is also described.

摘要: A remote controlled lighted mooring beacon is adapted to be secured to a mooring ball. The beacon includes a central shaft of a mooring stick. A ballast at the base of the shaft contains at least one battery which supplies the ballast for the mooring stick. A float surrounds a middle portion of the mooring stick and is located along the shaft between the top of the shaft and the ballast. An electronics package is located on the shaft including a receiver that responds to a wireless code for generating an activation signal. A 360 degree viewable high intensity light source is on top of the shaft, is daylight visible and is activated by the actuation. A conductor is connected from the at least one battery in the ballast to the electronics package and the light source for the powering thereof for at least one boating season.

摘要: The present invention provides an apparatus for attaching a first watercraft to another structure such as another watercraft or a fixed structure. The apparatus comprises a spacing member and attachment members. The spacing member has two ends and outer edges that define a width of the spacing member. An attachment member is connected to each end of the spacing member at the outer edges. The attachment members are releasably attachable to the watercraft and the attachment members are freely rotatable about each end of the spacing member. Another example of the apparatus provides two spacing members, first and second attaching loops and a tension system. The first attaching loop extends from a first end of the two spacing members. The second attaching loop extends from a second end of the spacing members. The attaching loops are releasably attachable to the watercraft and it is freely rotatable about the ends of each of the spacing members.
