摘要: Techniques for harmonizing wireless communications performed by a computing device which communicates using varying wireless communication standards are described herein. For instance, a computing device may include multiple chipsets with associated antennas that are configured to perform wireless communications using separate wireless standards which operate at overlapping frequencies. To avoid performance degradation experienced in simultaneous use cases with communications operating at overlapping frequencies, the multiple chipsets may be configured with logic to determine which communications are prioritized when multiple chipsets attempt to communicate simultaneously. The multiple chipsets may be communicatively coupled to coordinate their communications by prioritizing certain types of communications over other types of communications to avoid simultaneous communications in overlapping frequencies. In this way, multiple chipsets that communicate using different standards at overlapping frequencies may avoid performance issues experienced in simultaneous use cases, while performing the communications which are of a highest priority level.

摘要: In some implementations, a telecommunications network can include a core network device communicatively connectable with user equipment (UE). The UE can generate a registration request including a subsidiary request and transmit the registration request. The core network device can receive the registration request, determine the subsidiary request based on content of the registration request, and transmit an indication of the subsidiary request on behalf of the UE via the telecommunications network. A core network device can receive a registration request associated with a user equipment (UE), determine a subsidiary request based on content of the registration request, and transmit toward the UE an acknowledgement associated with both the registration request and the subsidiary request.

摘要: Client side stream switching enables substantially uninterrupted transmission of a highest compatible bit rate of a stream of media to a client via a network connection. The client may include one or more buffers for receiving the stream of media. Attributes including the buffer activity and a bandwidth of the network connection may be monitored by a streaming module to determine an alternative bit rate of the stream of media. The stream of media may be transitioned from the first bit rate to the alternative bit rate without an interruption of the stream of media to provide the client with the highest compatible bit rate based on the monitored attributes.

摘要: This disclosure is directed to a detection and avoidance apparatus for an unmanned aerial vehicle (“UAV”) and systems, devices, and techniques pertaining to automated object detection and avoidance during UAV flight. The system may detect objects within the UAV's airspace through acoustic, visual, infrared, multispectral, hyperspectral, or object detectable signal emitted or reflected from an object. The system may identify the source of the object detectable signal by comparing features of the received signal with known sources signals in a database. The features may be, for example, a light arrangement or number of lights associated with the object. Furthermore, a trajectory envelope for the object may be determined based on characteristic performance parameters for the object such as cursing speed, maneuverability, etc. The UAV may determine an optimized flight plan based on the trajectory envelopes of detected objects within the UAV's airspace to avoid the detected objects.

摘要: A method and an apparatus for distinguishing humans from computers and for controlling access to network services. One intended application of the method is a CAPTCHA technique, deployed using a shared Trusted Computing technology over a trusted network of a user terminal, a network server, and a Trusted Party, any of which may be at a Decision Point. The method distinguishes a human user making a legitimate request for network access from a programmed computer making undesired requests, by detecting unusually high network access request frequencies made by an identifiable user and/or a trusted module from the user terminal. The CAPTCHA function is further used to improve the method for controlling access to network services. The information transmitted between the members of the trusted network may be encrypted.

摘要: Apparatus and methods provide for a dual pass air flow configuration in an air conditioning system to improve efficiency and performance of the air conditioning system. An air conditioning device includes a pre-conditioned air passage chamber separated from a post-conditioned air passage chamber by an impermeable partition. A coil system separates the pre-conditioned air passage chamber and the post-conditioned air passage chamber from a partially-conditioned air passage chamber. The coil system is configured to receive air from the pre-conditioned air passage chamber and to condition the air passing through the coil system into the partially-conditioned air passage chamber. The coil system is also configured to receive the air from the partially-conditioned air and further condition the air as it passes through the coil system into the post-conditioned air passage chamber.

Data associated with software products is accessed and analyzed to determine what software products to test. The data analyzed may include, but is not limited to, download data, crash data, ratings data, marketplace data, usage data, and the like. A machine learning mechanism may be used to predict a popularity of a software product, classify the application into a category relating to whether a potential anomaly is identified for the software product, and determine whether to test the software product. A score may also be calculated for the software products that indicates whether or not to test the software product. The predicted popularity, the classification and/or the score may be used to determine whether to perform further analysis or testing with regard to a software product. For instance, the score may be used to determine that the software product is to be tested by a testing service.

In different cases, this synchronization may include a synchronization service or the synchronization may occur directly between a hybrid print medium and an electronic device storing an electronic version of the content within the hybrid print medium.
