摘要： A unique watercraft that includes a plurality of flotation elements which are aligned longitudinally and fit together end to end, comprising the watercraft hull. Unlike other watercraft, it does not rely upon a low center of gravity for stability. A front flotation element pivots about an axis and this pivotal motion is used for both steering and for maintaining balance. The effective profile of the hull changes dynamically as the front flotation element is turned. These hull changes allow the operator to balance and make agile maneuvers. Equilibrium can be easily maintained in this manner when the watercraft is moving forward and when it is otherwise stationary in water. In a preferred embodiment, the watercraft is ridden like a bicycle. Balance is actively maintained by a rider who steers right and left to adjust transverse weight distribution. The riding experience feels similar to operating a conventional bicycle on land.

摘要： The new and distinct variety of cherimoya tree, “Annona Cherimola,” is of large size, vigorous, spreading growth, and a regular and productive bearer of large-sized fruits with firm white flesh with excellent mango-like flavor and eating quality with flesh that is smooth in texture. Seeds are smaller than average for the species. Stem is smaller than average for the species, lending to a more favorable fruit ratio. In comparison with conventional commercial cherimoyas grown under the same conditions, the new variety has flesh remaining in firm condition longer under storage, with superior texture, and high soluble solids (average 23.0 Brix).

摘要： A water energy conversion system for convening the potential energy of water to electrical or mechanical energy, takes water at an inlet (105) from a higher elevation source, through a conduit (110) to a lower location. Then a riser (120) conveys the water up to nearly the same elevation it had at the inlet. The riser acts as a “virtual dam”, delivering the water with nearly the same head as a dam. The water from the riser is delivered to an energy converter (100) which comprises a loop raceway (130) which constrains and guides a plurality of carriage and disc assemblies (135) connected in a continuous train by links (155). An inlet (125) at the top of the energy converter receives the water where it falls downward through a jacket (140) that is constrained by the raceway (140).

Each player is dealt seven or eleven cards, all concealed from view with only one card revealed during play. The game piece movements are used to capture or position the game pieces (1), for capture splays. The six different types of direction-oriented game pieces and their attributes change direction each time they reach the limits of the board on either opposing side. When a card is played, both the standard game piece movement and the matching card's movement (2) are taken together and represent one extended move (3,4). The game is won-by capturing the opponent's Lion type game piece. Additional variations include a four-player version and Level-Four Play.

摘要： A coupling device is provided for receiving and securing a ball, the ball being attached to the structure to be coupled, such as a tow vehicle in the case of a trailer hitch application. Various embodiments of the device for both tongue and “goose neck” trailer hitch applications are included, which provide for simple and effective latching and unlatching. Hands free latching is provided for all coupling embodiments. A pivoting ball support is rotated and displaced as the ball enters the device, and is returned to a position whereby the ball is prevented from exiting the device. Various provisions are made for retaining the pivoting ball support in this position after such latching has occurred. Provisions for unlatching include various handles and hand pushed structure.
