    Abstract: Embodiments relate to a method for enhancing and prioritizing operation technology (OT) control systems in a safety instrumented system (SIS) environment by incorporating safety levels. The method includes receiving network packets associated with OT systems by network interface. From network packets, OT systems associated with safety integrity level (SIL) values are identified. In response to identifying OT control systems associated with SIL values, determining priority levels from SIL values of OT systems. The method includes identifying, among OT control systems, network packets associated with a critical OT system associated with a SIL value having a higher priority level. The critical OT system may be prioritized that comprises encoding the network packets of the critical OT system, with corresponding SIL value. The prioritized critical OT system may be prioritized based on SIL value and classified into a network group associated with a network tag to deliver traffic with higher priority.

    Abstract: Techniques for using Home Addresses, Mobile Internet Protocol (MIP), and/or other techniques in conjunction with Domain Name System (DNS) to obfuscate server-side addresses in data communications. Rather than having DNS provide a client device with an IP address of an endpoint device, such as a server, the DNS instead returns a Home Address that is mapped to the client device and at least one server IP address of the endpoint device. In this way, IP addresses of servers are obfuscated by a network mapping of the Home Addresses and the server IP addresses. The client device may then communicate data packets to the server using the Home Addresses as the destination address, and a virtual network service that works in conjunction with DNS can encapsulate the data packet with the server IP addresses and forward the data packet onto the server.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for re-balancing and healing of an SD-WAN in an unbalanced state and/or experiencing one or more failure states. In response to a request to connect to a new controller resulting from OMP load shedding from a first controller, the system can identify other controllers capable of handling the load requirements of the edge router. The system can incorporate the controller group preference of the edge router and select a second controller based on the identified other controllers and within the preferred controller group. If not possible, the system can temporarily assign the edge router to non-preferred controller groups and move them back to controllers in the preferred controller group once it becomes viable. The system further enhances OMP graceful restart (GR) logic to incorporate the load shedding effect and avoid unnecessary route retention that GR entails.

    Abstract: A voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) is disclosed that includes an inductor-capacitor (LC) tank coupled with a first voltage supply node, a pair of cross-coupled transistors that are coupled with the LC tank and coupled with each other at a tail node, and a high-frequency current return path to the first voltage supply node. The high-frequency return path includes a first decoupling capacitor coupled with the first voltage supply node and a second voltage supply node, and a first inductor coupled with the tail node and the second voltage supply node.     Abstract: A network element in a quantum network receives a hybrid frame including a classical header and a quantum payload. The network element processes the classical header for a length of time and generates a new classical header. The network element drops a portion of the quantum payload based on the length of time spent processing the classical header and updates the hybrid frame to include the new classical header and the quantum payload without the dropped portion.

    Abstract: Techniques for binding communication flows to unique addresses and/or ports, and configuring networking devices internal to a network to apply policy without the need to further introspect a given stream. Further, by creating mappings of unique addresses and/or ports to flows, the network devices are able to enforce policy without needing to coordinate with an edge node of the network at which the communication session terminates. Further, the techniques may include providing an SDN controller with a mapping between a unique address/port and a network flow, determining flow-specific policy to enforce on the flow, and programming one or more network devices to enforce the flow-specific policy in the network using the unique address/port.
