摘要: Disclosed herein is a touch screen panel detecting a capacitive touch input applied by a finger or a touch input means having conductivity like the finger. According to the present invention, the touch screen panel includes: a touch pad forming touch electrostatic capacity (Ct) between the touch pad and the touch input means; and a sensor signal line connecting the touch pad and a touch integrated circuit (IC) to transmit a Ct signal changed on the touch pad to the touch IC, wherein when a resistance value varying with a distance between the touch pad and the touch IC is lower than or equal to a set value, the sensor signal line forms a resistance compensation pattern compensating for the resistance value.

摘要: Provided is a touch cell structure for a touch panel in which a touch cell is configured into a new pad to gate mode in order to solve a problem of a conventional capacitive-type touch input device. The touch cell structure includes: a conductive pad that forms an electrostatic capacitance with respect to a touch unit when a finger of a human body or the touch unit having an electrical characteristic similar to the finger approaches the conductive pad within a predetermined distance; and a three-terminal type switching device whose gate terminal is connected with the conductive pad and whose output signal is changed in correspondence to a change in electric potential of the gate terminal of the three-terminal type switching device by the electrostatic capacitance between the touch unit and the conductive pad. Since the potential of the gate terminal of the switching device is determined by an electrostatic capacitance formed in the conductive pad, a difference of the output signal output from the switching device becomes large depending on whether a touch input occurs or not.

摘要: Provided is a new capacitive touch detection device, detection method, and touch screen panel for detecting a touch signal by detecting a voltage difference of a sensor pattern from a driving voltage applied by an auxiliary capacitor, and to a display device having a built-in capacitive touch screen. A capacitive touch detection device includes: a sensor pattern (10) forming a touch capacitance (Ct) in between a touch input device and the sensor pattern; an auxiliary capacitor (Caux) connected on one side to the sensor pattern (10) and having a driving voltage for touch detection applied to the other side thereof; a charging unit (12) for providing pre-charge signals to the touch capacitance (Ct) and the auxiliary capacitor (Caux); and a touch detection sensor (14) which is connected to the sensor pattern (10) and which detects a touch signal by detecting a voltage difference in the sensor pattern (10) when the touch capacitance (Ct) is added to the auxiliary capacitor (Caux) according to a touch of a touch input instrument. Effects of parasitic capacitance generated due to noise, coupling phenomena and other factors are minimized, to thus stably acquire touch signals.

摘要: Provided is a touch detection device, touch detection method, and touch screen panel, which detects a touch signal by detecting a driving back phenomenon occurring in a touch pad by a driving voltage applied to a driving capacitor, and a display device with a built-in touch screen panel. The touch detection device that is added on top of a display device and detects occurrence of a touch capacitance (Ct) by an approach of a bodily finger (25) or a touch input instrument such as a conductor similar to the bodily finger, the touch detection device comprising: a touch pad (10) that forms the touch capacitance (Ct) between the touch input instrument and the touch pad; a driving capacitor (Cdrv) whose one side is connected to the touch pad (10) and to the other side of which a driving voltage for detection of a touch input is applied; a common voltage detector that detects a common voltage generated from the display device; a driving voltage generator that generates the driving voltage in synchronization with the common voltage; and a touch detector that is connected to the touch pad (10), and that detects a touch signal by using a driving back phenomenon when the touch capacitance (Ct) is added to the driving capacitor (Cdrv) according to occurrence or non-occurrence of a touch in the touch input instrument. A touch signal is detected while avoiding a point in time of a change of a common voltage state, and a driving voltage is applied through a driving capacitor connected to a touch detector, to thus detect whether or not a driving back phenomenon occurs in the touch detector and to thereby acquire a touch signal. Accordingly, an influence due to parasitic capacitance generated by noise, coupling phenomenon or other factors is minimized, to thus acquire a touch signal stably.
