摘要: A method and a device for supervising the sensitivity of a protection function in an electrical power system including a metering device for measuring values of a feature, said protection function being configured to initialize an action based on a test value and a threshold value for the feature, wherein said test value is either a measured value or derived from the said measured values, the device includes a computing unit configured to receive the test values and, repeatedly during the operation of the protection function, to calculate a mean value and a deviation of the test values, to determine the probability of a false action based on the calculated mean value, the threshold value and the calculated deviation, and to indicate that the sensitivity is too high when the probability of a false action exceeds a first limit value for the probability of a false action.

摘要: Systems and methods for organizational purchasing are disclosed herein. More specifically, in certain embodiments a campaign corresponding to a product may be created and potential buyers informed of the campaign. These potential buyers may then themselves purchase the product in association with the campaign. In this manner not only are potential buyers informed that a product is being offered to one or more other buyers but the purchases of the individual buyers in association with the campaign may be aggregated to, for example, achieve a lower purchasing cost for each buyer relative to what the buyer would have paid if he had purchased only the quantity of product he desired.

摘要: The invention concerns a method for detecting the amounts of substances that may disturb chemical analysis performed by an analyzer for clinical chemistry. The presence and concentration of hemoglobin, bilirubin and lipemia are detected by measuring the absorbance or reflectance on at least two, preferably six, different wavelengths over the measured spectrum. The measurements are performed at two wavelengths for each substance, preferably on the absorbance peaks of the specific substance and on the root of the specific peaks. Since the three substances mentioned above each have at least one peak in the spectrum, the measurement is done on three peaks and three root positions respectively when three substances have to be measured.

摘要: A method for controlling the dispensation of a liquid volume sample when metering amounts of liquid by sucking into a tube, probe or tip a volume of a liquid to be displaced and ejecting the sample to a different vessel. According to the method the metering act is performed normally and the liquid to be metered is, displaced thereafter in a desired vessel. During the metering act and after a desired amount of liquid is sucked into the metering line, a supplementary suction step is performed wherefrom the success of the metering act can be deduced. The pressure function of the supplementary suction step is measured and this function is compared with a calibration function.

摘要: The present invention relates to photometers wherein light signals on different wavelengths are directed to samples and a light scattered from or penetrated through the sample is measured with a photodetector. Method provides a required filtered light signal for a photometer (4). The method comprises providing a source of white light by a pulsed flash light source (7) and filtering the light signal for providing signals on different wavelengths by using multiple filters (6) arranged on a perimeter of a rotary filter disk (5). At least one filtered light signal is led to at least one photometer (4). The filter disk (5) Is rotated continuously for passing successive filters (6) over the path of light from the flash light source (7) to the photometer (4) and the flash light source (7) is triggered when a filter (6) providing the required wavelength of light is on the path of light from the flash light source (7) to the photometer (4).

摘要: An automated sample analyzer (10) has a sample store (20) and a sample dispenser (90) which is controlled by a controller (170). Samples of a substance to be analyzed are dispensed into a cuvette (60), along with a reagent from a reagent storage compartment (40), after which incubation occurs in an incubator (70). The incubated analyte is then passed to a sample analysis module (140). This has a photometric analysis arrangement (150) and a twin photon excitation (TPX) analysis arrangement (160). The incubated analyte is analyzed using one or other of the arrangements (150, 160). By parallel processing of samples in the analysers (150), (160), a rapid throughput of samples is possible but with the possibility of both photometric and TPX analysis. The cuvette (60) is of a tapered design which is particularly suitable for samples to be analysed by either arrangement (150, 160).
