Abstract: Acquiring a snapshot of a logical volume involves generating snapshot-related catalog information including at least a location for storing actual data in the snapshot and a reference destination for identifying another snapshot in parent-child relation to the snapshot, and storing the actual data in the snapshot to the physical storage device and/or to the cloud service. In a case where at least one of a plurality of snapshots is to be designated and restored, catalog information is referenced to identify the storage location of the actual data and acquire the actual data stored in the physical storage device and the actual data not stored in the physical storage device from the cloud service.

Abstract: Provided are a laminated iron core that can reduce excessive increase in an iron loss while exhibiting saturation magnetic flux density higher than that of an electromagnetic pure iron plate, and can be made at lower cost than permendur, and a rotating electric machine using the laminated iron core. A laminated iron core according to the present invention is a laminated iron core in which a plurality of types of soft magnetic iron plates are laminated. The plurality of types of the soft magnetic iron plates include a first soft magnetic iron plate and a second soft magnetic iron plate, the first soft magnetic iron plate and the second soft magnetic iron plate are alternately laminated, the first soft magnetic iron plate has higher nitrogen content and higher saturation magnetic flux density than the second soft magnetic iron plate, and the second soft magnetic iron plate has lower coercive force than the first soft magnetic iron plate.

Abstract: A primary storage system reads a plurality of journal data, and performs collective compression that is compression of data that is at least a part of the plurality of pieces of journal data in the plurality of journals and is larger than a size of one journal data. The collectively compressed data, which is a plurality of pieces of journal data subjected to collective compression, is a transfer target from the primary storage system to the secondary storage system. The secondary storage system acquires a plurality of pieces of journal data by decompressing one or more pieces of collectively compressed data, and writes the plurality of pieces of journal data to the secondary volume.

The soft magnetic iron alloy plate according to the present invention includes a chemical composition containing Co by 1 to 30 atom %, N by 0.2 to 10 atom %, an M component that can form an MN-type nitride by 0.5 to 5 atom %, with the balance being Fe and impurities, and when a cross section of the soft magnetic iron alloy plate is observed, nitride particles of the M component are deposited with an average particle size of 0.5 μm or less and a number density of 50 particles/100 μm2 or less.

Abstract: Disclosed are a motor control apparatus, a motor drive apparatus and a device that uses the same, with which, even if the electrical angular frequency is high, it is possible to detect a motor current fundamental wave component with high accuracy and to perform drive control on a motor in a stable manner. On the basis of a speed command (ω*) and a detected value (Iuvw) for motor current, this motor control apparatus creates a control signal (PWM) for controlling a motor (4) and comprises: a phase current detection means which detects the phase current of the motor; and a fundamental wave component extraction means (5) which extracts a fundamental wave component for the motor phase current detected by the phase current detection means. The fundamental wave component extracted by the fundamental wave component means is used as the detected value for motor current to create the control signal.
