Abstract: A guide loop height adjustment arrangement for a driver's seat belt has a drive that raises and lowers a guide loop in response to a sensed change in the position of the driver's mirror. Abstract: A packaging system is provided wherein a support structure such as a container, bin or rack having a free edge is converted into an apparatus for at least temporarily storing one or more objects in a suspended manner. The system generally includes at least one hanger bar profile, at least one hanger bar or both from one or more compliant receptacles are suspended. The one or more compliant receptacles can be made from a variety of different materials but are generally capable of conforming to the overall geometry of objects contained therein. Further, the receptacles are generally accessible for the insertion and removal of objects through an opening provided along the top edge. Methods of converting support structures into apparatuses for at least temporarily storing one or more objects in a suspended state are also provided.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for rotating a kelly and drill string by the rotary of a drilling apparatus at a speed different than the speed of the rotary. The apparatus generally includes a housing or bushing spaced about the kelly which passes through the table, the housing or bushing being adapted to be received and rotated by the rotary. Abstract: Disclosed is a modular advanced technology -marksmanship proficiency (MAT-MP) system. The MAT-MP system provides marksmanship instructors with a robust and reconfigurable set of technological tools to quickly diagnose and remediate deficiencies in marksmanship skill at a live-fire range. The system diagnoses the shooter's performance using an array of sensors and an optic camera, all placed on the shooter's weapon, to continuously monitor and record his/her performance during weapon fire. Data output by the sensors and optic camera is gathered by the MAT-MP system's weapon-mounted control device and sent wirelessly to an instructor station, typically a tablet, laptop computer or the like. The MAT-MP coach software running on the instructor's computer presents a summarized analysis of the shooter's performance as well as provides the instructor the ability to view the raw sensor data graphically. The MAT-MP system can enable the instructor to more quickly identify and confirm the root cause of the shooter's poor performance instead of forcing the instructor to rely upon heuristic methods and interpretation of the fall of shot.

Abstract: A pay-per-use computer, or other electronic device that uses local security, may use a security module or other circuit for monitoring and enforcement of a usage policy. To help prevent physical attacks on the security module, or the circuit board near the security module, a second circuit may be mounted over the security module to help prevent access to the security module. Both circuits may be mounted on a interposer and the interposer mounted to the circuit board, creating a stack including the first circuit, the interposer, the security module, and a main PC board. When the PC board includes dense signal traces under the security module a three dimensional envelope is created around the security module. When the first circuit is a high value circuit, such as a Northbridge, the risk/reward of attacking the security module is increased substantially and may deter all but the most determined hackers.

Abstract: To protect against software piracy, a storage media has a cryptographically protected area that stores software to be installed onto a target device, such as a computer. The storage media may include a non-secure area holding boot files and an installation program. The installation program may gather target device-specific data for use by a certifying authority in generating a key that allows access to the secure area of the storage media only during the installation process. In this manner, a user never has access to the raw installation files, limiting the ability to copy and distribute those files for installation on non-authorized computers. The certifying authority may also prepare target device-specific data applied to the software before installation to create a custom software image that will only execute on the target device and that can be verified by the host OS prior to execution, allowing integrity confirmation.
