    摘要： A linguistic analyzer converts words from graphemes to phonemes using a relatively small phonemic dictionary. Words which are not in the dictionary are analyzed by performing one or more transformations on the required word in order to create a word which is in the dictionary. Analogous transformations are performed on a retrieved phoneme sequence in order to provide a phoneme sequence which corresponds to the original word.

    摘要： An extraction tool for extracting a module that is detachably connected to a mounting substrate includes a fixed plate that is vertically supported over the module to be extracted. A movable plate is arranged below the fixed plate and a screw is inserted in central openings in each of the fixed and movable plates. A pair of vertically extending side panels are connected at one edge by a hinge to opposite sides of the movable plate. The opposite edge of the respective side panels are used to grip the module to be extracted. A spring biases the side panels inwardly. A rotatable handle is arranged above the fixed plate and is connected to the screw. Lateral rotation of the handle causes a corresponding axial rotation of the screw for moving the movable plate in a vertical direction. The precise vertical movement of the plate also causes vertical movement of the side panels gripping the module which ensures that the module is extracted without any side-to-side or twisting motion, thereby avoiding damage to the connectors.

Each of the conveyors includes a longitudinally extending belt having a first end and a second end. A first drum is rotatably secured to the base and secured to the first end of the belt. A second drum is rotatably secured to the base and secured to the second end of the belt. The first drum is longitudinally spaced apart from the second drum. A first drive arrangement for rotating the first drum and a second drive arrangement for rotating the second drum for winding the belts around the respective drums are provided. A control is provided for driving the respective first drums and second drums. A guide and guide track are provided to keep the belts in alignment. Polyethylene bearings are provided to engage with the drums and limit switches are provided for stopping winding of the belts around the drums.

    摘要： An electric pump 13 is mounted on a support 24 and can be raised and lowered using chains 25 driven by a motor. Supply cable 14 for the pump is stored on drum 15. Fluid is discharged by the pump through hose 17 stored on drum 18. A spray ring 20 attached to the pump is supplied with water through hose 21 stored on drum 22. The drums are rotated by hydraulic motors 32 and chains eg 36, 37. As the pump is raised at a uniform speed the drums are rotated to take up the slack hose and cable. The height of the pump is sensed from movement of the pump motor and the pressure supplied to the hydraulic motors is changed in discrete steps to maintain the wind up speed on to the drums despite the change in weight of unwound hose or cable.

    摘要： Vascular access catheters that include a catheter body having one or a plurality of lumens longitudinally extending therethrough. The lumens have cross-sectional shapes that enhance kink resistance, support reliable slit valve operation, and couple securely with the outlet stem of a multiple reservoir implantable access port. In a dual lumen catheter disclosed, each of the lumens are defined by a plurality of longitudinally extending generally linear inner wall surfaces. The inner wall surfaces when viewed in a transverse cross section of the catheter body taken normal to the longitudinal access have trapezoidal shapes. Other cross-sectional shapes are also illustrated. A generally planar septum separates the pair of lumens. The lumens effect a fluid-tight mechanical engagement between the D-shaped outlet prongs of a conventional outlet stem of an implantable dual reservoir access port, highly reliable two-way, three-position slit valves may be associated with each of the lumens. The valve for each lumen has a closed position thereof in which fluid communication is precluded between the lumen and the exterior of the catheter body, but the valve is selectively operable under the influence of appropriate pressure differentials between the lumens and the exterior of the catheter from the closed position into either an inwardly or an outwardly open position.
