摘要： A magnetic tape cassette system includes an erroneous erasing preventing member which is controlled by an operating device on a cassette deck to prevent erroneous erasing of a tape cassette. The erroneous erasing preventing member includes a space with an opening provided on a peripheral wall of a tape cassette, and an opening and closing member which in a first position prevents erasing of the tape cassette and in a second position closes the opening to the space, thereby allowing the tape cassette to be erased.

摘要： A pad which is to be provided in the interior of a videotape cassette according to this invention is in the form of a hollow cylinder. When fitted in place in the interior of a videotape cassette, the cylindrical pad is yieldingly deformed to produce a resilient force, thereby pushing a videotape against an associated guide stud. Because of the cylindrical shape, the pad requires no large space to mount, and accordingly a videotape cassette can be substantially reduced in size. The cylindrical pad need only be pushed into place in the interior of a cassette housing, and this easy mounting is advantageous to the mass-production of videotape cassettes.

摘要： In a magnetic recording tape cassette, a pad supporting member which supports a tape pad for backing the recording tape against the magnetic head of a recording/reproducing system comprises upper and lower halves. Each half includes a pad supporting portion and a pair of arm portions extending from either side of the pad supporting portion and the halves are connected with each other at the respective free ends of the arm portions with the pad supporting portions being separated from each other by a slit. The upper portion of the pad is bonded to the pad supporting portion of the upper half of the supporting member and the lower portion of the pad is bonded to the lower half, whereby the upper and lower portions can be flexed independently from each other.

摘要： A magnetic recording disk cartridge comprises a recording disk and a casing for accommodating the recording disk. The casing is provided with a pair of magnetic head receiving openings in the front and rear side walls thereof. The magnetic head receiving openings are normally closed and are opened when the cartridge is loaded in a recording-reproducing system. The shutter member for closing the magnetic head receiving openings is formed by bending a single plate material and comprises a pair of arm portions connected with each other by a bight portion. A pair of shutter portions for closing the respective magnetic head receiving openings are formed on the respective arm portions at an intermediate portion thereof. The free end portions of the arm portions respectively form bearing portions which are engaged with engaging ribs projecting inwardly from the front and rear side walls of the casing and support the shutter member for rotation about the ribs. The shutter member is connected to one end of a connecting member at the bight portion. The other end of the connecting member is exposed outside the casing to abut against an abutment member of the recording-reproducing system when the cartridge is loaded therein. The shutter member is normally held in an operative position in which the shutter portions close the magnetic head receiving openings, and is drawn by the connecting member whereby it is rotated to an inoperative position in which the shutter portions open the magnetic head receiving openings when the cartridge is loaded in the recording-reproducing system.

The cartridge is provided with a shutter member for closing the magnetic head receiving openings in the casing. The shutter member is mounted in the casing for pivotal movement along the inner surface of the casing between an operative position in which it closes the magnetic head receiving opening and an inoperative position in which it opens the same. The shutter member is provided with projections on the surface facing the inner surface of the casing and slides on the projections along the inner surface of the casing when it is moved between the operative position and the inoperative position.

摘要： In a magnetic tape magazine of small size containing a thin tape for long play, one of a pair of guide walls is provided between a fixed guide pin and a rotatable guide roller on either side of the tape retaining section of the interior space of the magazine. The guide walls are made of non-magnetizable material and have a smooth flat surface to smoothly guide the tape and prevent the tape from winding around the rotatable guide rollers or being distorted while being fed in a recording or reproducing operation. A partition is provided in the tape magazine to divide the interior of the magazine into a tape retaining section and a recording and reproducing section. Between both ends of the partition and the rotatable guide rollers are provided additional guide walls.

Each of the recording disk media is fixed to a center core which is stacked one on another through a spacer. The cartridge case includes: a lower plate for configuring a lower wall parallel to the plurality of the recording disk media; at least one inner plate that is stacked and fixed on the lower plate, and partitions the plurality of the recording disk media; and an upper plate that is stacked and fixed on the inner plate, and configures an upper wall of the cartridge case. Each spacer is provided with locking protrusions at upper and lower surfaces thereof, and each center core is provided with locking holes for engagement with the locking protrusions of adjacent spacers.
