Abstract:
A flush toilet for discharging waste using flush water supplied from a flush water source, including a bowl portion having a bowl-shaped waste receiving surface, a rim portion formed on the top edge portion thereof, and a shelf portion formed between the rim portion and the waste receiving surface; a water discharge path for discharging waste, the path including an inlet which is connected at the bottom of the bowl portion; a water spouting portion for spouting flush water onto the shelf portion of the bowl portion to form a swirl flow; and a water conduit for supplying flush water to the spouting portion. The water spouting portion is formed on the rim portion, and a first swirl trajectory of a first circulation and a second swirl trajectory of a second circulation are mutually different when flush water spouted from the water spouting portion swirls along the rim portion.
Abstract:
The flush toilet comprises: a bowl portion including a waste receiving surface and a rim portion; spout portions for spouting flush water supplied from a reservoir tank into the bowl portion; and a water discharge trap pipe for discharging waste, the inlet of which is connected to the bottom of the bowl portion; whereby the bowl portion waste receiving surface includes an upper waste receiving surface connected to the rim portion, and a concave portion connected between the upper waste receiving surface and the discharge trap pipe, the concave portion includes a bottom surface connected to the discharge trap pipe and positioned below the upper waste receiving surface and a wall surface connecting this bottom surface and the bottom edge portion of the upper waste receiving surface, and the front region of this wall surface forms a sloped surface sloping on the inside from bottom to top.
Abstract:
A method and a device for electrochemically machining workpiece having blade end plates at the longitudinal both ends of a blade-shaped portion having aerofoil shape in cross section by extending and retracting divided electrodes. A part of the blade-shaped portion and one blade end plate continued therewith are electrochemically machined by advancing the main electrode in an acute angle direction relative to the longitudinal direction of the blade-shaped portion. At the same time or subsequently, the remaining part of the blade-shaped portion and the other blade end plate continued therewith are electrochemically machined by slidably advancing an auxiliary electrode along the slope of the main electrode forming an acute angle relative to the blade-shaped-portion-machining-surface. Thus, the number of the parts of an electrode unit can be reduced and the structure thereof can be simplified.
Abstract:
A radiation-sensitive resin composition including (1) an alkali-soluble resin, (2) a quinonediazide compound and (3) a mixed solvent including a monoketone having 7 to 14 carbon atoms and an alkoxypropionic acid alkyl ester is provided. The composition can be coated in a uniform thickness in a small coating weight. The composition has a high sensitivity and a high resolution, and also enables formation of resist patterns having a superior pattern shape with less pattern defects. Thus, it is suitable as a positive resist.
Abstract:
A connection device attached to an outlet end of a pipe of pressurized fluid such as compressed air and used for connecting the pipe to a supply inlet of a utilization device, having an automatically operated valve built therein and arranged to be opened by only pressing it against the inlet of the utilization device to supply the pressurized fluid to the utilization device and closed by only separating it from the inlet of the utilization device to shut off any leakage of the fluid. In the device of this invention, the structure and arrangement of the automatic valve are improved for enabling size reduction of the device. Accordingly, the device of this invention is especially suitable in the case where a plurality of devices are arranged on a single base member and plural pipes connected thereto are automatically connected to and disconnected from corresponding plural utilization devices at the same time.

A flush toilet includes a bowl portion having a waste receiving surface, a rim portion, spout portions for spouting flush water supplied from a reservoir tank into the bowl portion, and a water discharge trap pipe for discharging waste. The water discharge trap includes an inlet connected to a bottom of the bowl portion. The bowl portion waste receiving surface includes an upper waste receiving surface connected to the rim portion, and a concave portion connected between the upper waste receiving surface and the discharge trap pipe. The concave portion includes a bottom surface connected to the discharge trap pipe and is positioned below the upper waste receiving surface, and a wall surface connecting the bottom surface and a bottom edge portion of the upper waste receiving surface. A front region of this wall surface forms a sloped surface sloping on the inside from bottom to top.

Abstract:
A compound which captures a multisite phosphorylated peptide or protein specifically to a phosphorylation site and a method for detecting the peptide or protein using the compound. Particularly, a compound which specifically detects an excessively phosphorylated tau protein observed in the brain affected by Alzheimer's disease and a method for diagnosing Alzheimer's disease in vitro or in vivo using the compound are provided. By bringing a metal complex compound having two dipicolylamine (Dpa) moieties and a spacer including a chromogenic or luminescent functional or atom group into contact with a multisite phosphorylated peptide or protein, the compound recognizes the distance between phosphate groups and specifically binds to the peptide or protein, and a multisite phosphorylated peptide or protein or kinase activity is optically detected by measuring the change, or a multisite phosphorylated peptide or protein or kinase activity is imaged by an optical imaging method applying the change in luminescence.
