Abstract:
The invention relates to a multi-layer or laminated compound body, in particular vehicle tire in which at least one first layer or ply, in particular on polyurethane basis, is bonded via a coupling agent layer on polyurethane basis to a second layer or ply, in particular on polydiene basis, which layer is preferably at least essentially free of polyurethane. According to the invention, it is provided that the coupling agent layer is formed of a polyenol polyurethane whose polyenol component in a manner known per se has an OH-functionality of less than 2.1, in particular of 1.7 to 2.05, preferably of 1.9 to 2.0, at preferably terminal hydroxyl groups, and/or a corresponding polyenethiol polyurethane. The invention further relates to a process for the production of the compound body and a coupling mass for performing the process.
Abstract:
An apparatus for molding a tire with an annular reinforcement below the tread surface includes a first set of molding segments for molding a tire, a winding mechanism for winding a flexible reinforcement band or thread about the molded tire under tension and a second group of molding segments for molding a tread surface portion about the reinforced tire body.
Abstract:
A method for molding a tire with an annular reinforcement below the tread surface in which first a tire body is molded and then a flexible reinforcement formed by bands or threads is wound, preferably under tension, in form of a helix about the circumference of the tire body, whereafter a tread surface portion is molded about the tire body and the reinforcement thereon; and an apparatus for carrying out the method.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to the use of specific amphiphilic alkoxyates as synergistic adjuvant for agrotechnical applications. Suitable agrotechnical compositions are also described. Thus, the addition of such alkoxylates makes possible an accelerated uptake of active ingredients by the plant. The alkoxylates to be used are alkoxylates based on branched alcohols such as 2-propylheptanol, C13-oxo alcohols and C10-oxo alcohols.
Abstract:
A drug composition containing as a drug substance a polymeric guanidine derivative based on a diamine containing oxyalkylene chains between two amino groups, with the guanidine derivative representing a product of polycondensation between a guanidine acid addition salt and a diamine containing polyalkylene chains between two amino groups, as well as the pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof.
Abstract:
Use of certain alkoxylates as an adjuvant for agrotechnical applications The present invention relates to the use of specific amphiphilic alkoxyates as synergistic adjuvant for agrotechnical applications. Abstract:
A pneumatic tire produced of elastomers, especially cast or injection molded polyurethanes has an inner body in which a reinforcement is embedded and anchored by means of holding ropes. The inner body may be provided as a closed tubular body and is encased by an outer body which accommodates a belt and is outwardly provided with a tread. At its side walls, the outer body is provided with respective bead cores in which area, the inner body of the tire is connected to the outer body.
Abstract:
New polyurea polymer compositions are disclosed which are prepared by a polyaddition reaction of a polyisocyanate with a compound having the general formula: ##STR1## wherein X is oxygen or sulfur and R represents a group of the formula: ##STR2## wherein R.sub.1 to R.sub.4 are hydrogen or halogen and B stands for a divalent polyalkylene ether group or a polyalkylene thioether group such as it is obtained by removal of the hydroxyl or mercapto groups from a polyalkylene ether diol or from a polyalkylene thioether dithiol of a molecular weight of 100 to 15000. The polymer composition are useful for the formation of vehicle tires of all types including plastic components for parts of wheels, for conveyor belts, fasteners and shoe soles.
Abstract:
The invention relates to novel poly(thio)ethers having terminal amino groups, a process for their production and their application in the production of polyureas showing increased thermal stability and improved tensile and structural strength.
