Abstract:
The present invention relates to the use of specific amphiphilic alkoxyates as synergistic adjuvant for agrotechnical applications. Suitable agrotechnical compositions are also described. Thus, the addition of such alkoxylates makes possible an accelerated uptake of active ingredients by the plant.The alkoxylates to be used are alkoxylates based on branched alcohols such as 2-propylheptanol, C13-oxo alcohols and C10-oxo alcohols.

The present invention relates to certain alcohol alkoxylates of the amphiphilic type, to agrochemical agents comprising them, and to the use of the alcohol alkoxylates as activity-improving adjuvants in the agrochemical field and particularly in the field of plant protection. The present invention relates to a novel composition for improving the effectiveness of herbicides, to the use of this composition for improving the effectiveness of herbicides, to a herbicidal agent which comprises this composition and at least one herbicide, and to the use of this herbicidal agent for controlling undesired plant growth. The composition comprises: (a) at least one C1-C4-alkyl ester of at least one aliphatic C14-C22-carboxylic acid, where the at least one carboxylic acid consists to at least 70% by weight of aliphatic carboxylic acids having 18 carbon atoms; (b) at least one anionic surfactant which is selected from the esterification products of monohydroxy-functional alkyl polyethers with inorganic polyprotonic acids; (c) at least one aliphatic C14-C22-carboxylic acid; (d) optionally at least one antifoam; and (e) at least one aromatic solvent.

The invention relates to an aqueous dispersion comprising microcapsules, the capsule wall of which is formed from radically polymerized monomers and the capsule core of which comprises at least one oil, in which the capsule core comprises at least one lipophilic surfactant and the continuous phase of the dispersion comprises at least one agrochemical. In addition, the invention relates to a process for the preparation of an aqueous dispersion by (i) providing an aqueous dispersion comprising microcapsules, the capsule wall of which is formed from radically polymerized monomers and the capsule core of which comprises at least one oil and at least one lipophilic surfactant (microcapsule crude dispersion), and (ii) mixing with at least one agrochemical. Furthermore, the invention relates to the use of the microcapsule crude dispersion for the preparation of an aqueous dispersion, and also to a product comprising, as separate components, a microcapsule crude dispersion and at least one agrochemical for combined use in combating undesirable plant growth and/or in combating undesirable insect or acarid infestation on plants and/or in combating phytopathogenic fungi.
