Abstract:
For replacing cleaning compositions based on 1,1,2-trichloro-1,2,2-trifluoroethane (F113), the invention provides a composition comprising 55 to 80% by weight of 1,1-dichloro-1-fluoroethane (F141b) and 45 to 20% by weight of methyl formate. These two compounds form a positive azeotrope (b.p.=28.4.degree. C. at atmospheric pressure). The composition, which may be stabilized, can be used for cleaning solid surfaces, in particular for removing flux from printed circuits and for degreasing mechanical parts.
Abstract:
For replacing cleaning compositions based on 1,1,2-trichloro-1,2,2-trifluoroethane (F113), the invention provides a composition comprising 55 to 79.5% by weight of 1,1-dichloro-1-fluoroethane (F141b), 20 to 40% by weight of methyl formate and 0.5 to 5% of methanol. These three compounds form a positive azeotrope (b.p.=28.3.degree. C. at atmospheric pressure). The composition, which may be stabilized, can be used for cleaning solid surfaces, in particular for removing flux from printed circuits and for degreasing mechanical parts.

For replacing cleaning compositions based on 1,1,2-trichloro-1,2,2-trifluoroethane (F113), the invention provides a composition comprising 55 to 80% by weight of 1,1,1,2,2-pentalfuoro-3,3-dichloropropane (225ca) and 20 to 45% by weight of methyl tert-butyl ether. These two compounds form a negative azeotrope (b.p.=59.9.degree. C. at atmospheric pressure). The composition, which may be stabilized, can be used for cleaning solid surfaces, in particular for removing flux from printed circuits and for degreasing mechanical parts.
Abstract:
The device comprises at least one pair of flexible ballasts which extend laterally along the length of the inflatable structure and each comprise an orifice, acting as a vent, situated at the front, and a scoop system situated at the rear. Between the ballasts, at least one pipe connects the cavities of said ballasts to equalize their level of fill and the stagnation pressure of the water obtaining in said cavities when the inflatable structure is pulled along in the inflated state. This scoop system consists of a component moulded in a rigid or semirigid thermoplastic or is made of an assembly of cutouts from a flexible material of watertight fabric. This scoop system is bonded and/or welded to the ballast.
Abstract:
The invention relates to methods and devices for launching into the water, from a height H greater than a predetermined height hmax, a life-saving object designed to be able to be launched into the water in free fall from this maximum height hmax. One end of a halyard is fixedly hooked to the life-saving object or to the launch site; the halyard functionally cooperates respectively with the launch site or the life-saving object so that the life-saving object falling by gravity is braked on and/or by the halyard over at least one part (H-hmax) of its drop height. By controlling the braking effect, the life-saving object, falling from the height H in a braked manner over at least one part (H-hmax) of this height hits the surface of the water (5) with a kinetic energy not exceeding that which it would have at the end of a non-braked free fall from at most the height hmax.
Abstract:
Life raft (1) launched by davit (7) and comprising for this purpose hanging means (4, 5) able to be held in a hook (6) suspended from the davit (7), this raft (1) being fitted out with equipment comprising at least one load (102) that is heavy or heavier than the others, which raft is characterized in that the heavy or heavier load (102) is attached to the aforesaid raft hanging means (4, 5), as a result of which, when the raft is hoisted by the davit, the heavy load or at least the heaviest load remains suspended from the raft hanging means without touching the raft, and the raft, being much better balanced, occupies a more horizontal position.
Abstract:
In order to replace compositions based on CFC or on HCFC in cleaning or drying applications on solid surfaces (in particular defluxing), the invention provides azeotropic or near-azeotropic compositions based on 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluorobutane, on dichloromethane, on methanol and on 1,1,1,2,3,4,4,5,5,5-decafluoropentane.
Abstract:
Compns. based on azeotropic or quasi-azeotropic mixts. of trichloroethylene and 1,1,1,2,3,4,4,5,5,5-decafluoropentane are useful for replacing CFC or HCFC in cleaning and degreasing of surfaces (e.g., defluxing of printed circuits) and drying of surfaces. The ability of these compns. to dry surfaces is improved by addn. of RCONR(CH2)nNHCOR surfactants (R=C14-22 alkyl, n=1-5).
Abstract:
The subject of the invention is dewetting or degreasing compositions based on halogenated aliphatic solvents containing in solution at least one mono- or dialkyl phosphate of a fluorinated amine, at least one quaternary ammonium mono- or dialkylphosphate and optionally a quaternary ammonium chloride.
Abstract:
To replace 1,1,2-trichloro-1,2,2-trifluoroethane (F113) in its applications to the cleaning and drying of solid surfaces, the invention propose to employ a (perfluoroalkyl) ethylene of formula:R.sub.f CH.dbd.CH.sub.2in which R.sub.f denotes a linear or branched perfluoroalkyl radical containing from 3 to 6 carbon atoms. In contrast to F113, (perfluoroalkyl)ethylenes are not liable to degrade stratospheric ozone.
