Abstract: A controller of a machine tool acquires coordinates of a first machining start point of an eccentric shape in a reference phase of a workpiece around a spindle axis, a second machining start point in an anti-phase, a first machining end point in the reference phase, and a second machining end point in the anti-phase. The controller decides a moving path of the tool in association with rotation of the workpiece at least according to the coordinates of the first start point, the second start point, the first end point, and the second end point to form the eccentric shape around an eccentric axis passing a start point origin between the first start point and the second start point and an end point origin between the first end point and the second end point and thereby controls movement of the tool in association with rotation of the workpiece.

Abstract: The invention provides a machine tool capable of facilitating a process of switching product ejecting apparatuses. The machine tool comprises a spindle which rotates a workpiece around an axis of the spindle, an actuator which reciprocates a rod arranged parallel to the axis of the spindle, and a coupler switched between a coupling position and a standby position. The coupler connects the rod and an ejecting shaft inserted in the spindle when held in the coupling position. The coupler is not connected to at least the ejecting shaft when held in the standby position. The ejecting shaft along with the coupler is moved in the direction of the axis of the spindle according to reciprocation of the rod when the coupler is held in the coupling position.

Abstract: Whenever there happens a change in the state of a device, a host is assured of the current state information of the device. The state information returned from the printer as a response to an inquiry sent from the web print server is stored in a storing unit of the web print server. A result of determination representing whether there happens a change in the state of the printer is stored in the storing unit. The information stored in the storing unit is notified to the tablet as a response to an inquiry sent from the tablet to the web print server. The current state information of the printer is notified to the tablet via the web print server whenever there happens a change in the state of the printer regardless of whether the printer is operated under control of the tablet.

Abstract: Upon completion of print data transmission, the host terminal sends to a network printer a finish command via a print port and further a forced disconnection request command via another communication port. If the finish command is lost due to a network failure, the network printer forcibly disconnects the host terminal from the print port of the network printer in response to the forced disconnection request command, thereby allowing the other host terminals to use the network printer without waiting the elapse of the time-out period.
