    摘要: Disclosed is a technique related to a method for controlling synchronization by correcting data transmission time or frequency offset, and to a station. According to the technique, a method for controlling the synchronization of a first terminal for data transmission/reception in a coordinated communication system comprises: a step of transmitting a first request frame and a second request frame containing transmission time information for each of a first response frame and a second response frame to a second terminal and to a third terminal, respectively; a step of receiving the first response frame and the second response frame from the second terminal and the third terminal; a step of estimating a first propagation delay time between the first terminal and the second terminal and a second propagation delay time between the first terminal and the third terminal, using the time of receiving the first response frame and the second response frame; and a step of transmitting, to the second terminal, a third request frame containing information on the delay time difference between the first propagation delay time and the second propagation delay time.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a power saving in a wireless local area network including a plurality of access points providing at least one mobile station in each access point cell boundary with access service, the mobile station transits between an active mode and an idle mode. The power saving method includes grouping the access points into at least one paging group with a paging group boundary; determining if the a mobile station is in the idle mode in which the mobile station switches between an awake state and a doze state every predetermined time interval, or the active mode in which the mobile station is in the awake mode; and if the mobile station is in the idle mode enabling an idle handoff which occurs only when the mobile station crosses the paging group boundary. In the present invention, the handoff occurs when the mobile terminal crosses the paging group boundary but not the access point cell in the idle mode, resulting in reduction of power consumption.

The receiver may further include a handover module for performing handover to the neighboring cell when the channel quality of the neighboring cell measured by the second measuring module is greater than that of the serving cell.
