Abstract: To provide a chain tensioner that can suppress oil leakage from a gap between a plunger bore and a plunger to achieve stable damping characteristics and that can avoid an increase in production cost, with a simple structure. The chain tensioner includes a packing member that is provided on an inner circumferential side of the plunger bore and that suppresses oil leakage from a cylindrical outer surface of the plunger. The plunger is provided with an oil leak passage that extends from an oil pressure chamber inside the plunger to the outside.

Abstract: An elongated object guiding device includes links arranged in series. Adjacent ones of the links are pivotally coupled to each other. An accommodation chamber is defined in the links. Each link includes an inner recess, an inner projection, an outer recess, and an outer projection that limit a pivoting range of the link and an adjacent link so that the links are pivoted between a straight state and a bent state. Each link includes a separating member that separates elongated objects accommodated in the accommodation chamber from each other. Each separating member is pivotally coupled to an adjacent separating member. Each separating member includes a through-hole and a sliding portion that limit a pivoting range of the separating member and an adjacent separating member so that a limit on a first side of the pivoting range is the straight state.

Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a tensioner lever that can reduce vibration and noise when the chain runs, and realize smooth attachment into an engine with minimal deformation of the lever body with a simple configuration. A tensioner lever according to the present invention includes a lever body and a torsion coil spring pressed the lever body toward the chain. The lever body includes a stopper member mounting part where a stopper member by which the support arm of the torsion coil spring is locked and which retains the torsion coil spring in a compressed state is removably mounted. The stopper member mounting part is located closer to a distal end of the lever body than a center position in the longitudinal direction of the lever body, or a center of gravity position of the lever body.

The relief spring 43 is disposed such that one end thereof is in contact with the valve member 42 while the other end is attached to the bottom protrusion 22a.
