摘要： An electronic musical apparatus which makes it possible to execute functions provided in advance in the electronic musical apparatus. Contents data including link information indicative of a link to a file in which at least one command for executing at least one predetermined function provided in the electronic musical apparatus is written is acquired. A predetermined screen is displayed based on the acquired contents data. The file linked by the link information is acquired when a user performs a predetermined operation on the link information presented on the displayed predetermined screen. At least one command written in the acquired file is interpreted, and the electronic musical apparatus is controlled to execute at least one predetermined function indicated by the interpreted command.

Alternatively, the Web server may issue a unique ID when an ID issuance request has been received from a user of the EMA. User registration operation and unique ID issuance and registration operations may be carried out together as a set of operations.

In the music apparatus, a storage section stores a file of the composite music content composed of a plurality of content materials, each of which is encrypted individually. The content materials include a usable content material which matches with the capability of the music apparatus and an unusable content material which does not match with the capability of the music apparatus. In the music apparatus, an identifying section identifies the usable content material among the plurality of the content materials of the composite music content stored in the storage section. Then, a decrypting section selectively decrypts the usable content material identified by the identifying section. Thereafter, a using section uses the decrypted usable content material.

The server computer SC receives the signal and apparatus ID information. The server computer SC also retrieves content data of a dedicated page for the identified model from a content data storage section 106b. The retrieved content data is created in accordance with display capabilities of a display unit 13 of the electronic musical apparatus M1. The server computer SC then transmits the retrieved content data to the electronic musical apparatus M1. As a result, the user of the electronic musical apparatus M1 can view the information contained in the whole dedicated page in colors on the display unit 13 without the need for scrolling. Thus, the present invention delivers legible information to various different types of electronic musical apparatuses having a display unit with different display capabilities.

In accordance with the common layout, note marks are allocated to rows of staves corresponding to the parts on the basis of the part-specific performance data. Thus, it is possible to achieve musical score layout having an enhanced appearance with all the corresponding beat positions (time axes) of the rows of staves accurately aligned with each other. Further, each ornament is detected from among the performance data so that the ornament note group is presented on the staves using a predetermined ornament mark. In addition, the notes represented by the performance data relating to the ornament are subjected to a quantization process, and these notes are presented on the staves in a combination of the ornament mark and note marks of the quantized data. Furthermore, each note group corresponding to an arpeggio or glissando performance is detected from among the performance data so that the note group is presented on the staves in a combination of a predetermined performance style mark and marks representative of the notes.
