    摘要: According to one embodiment, there is provided a method for manufacturing a magnetic recording media, including forming a magnetic film on a substrate and coating a resist on the magnetic film, imprinting a stamper on the resist to transfer patterns of recesses and protrusions to the resist, and removing the stamper and then performing ion milling to process the magnetic film with resist residues remained in recesses in the patterned resist to form magnetic patterns.

In a case where two magnetic patterns used as address bits on the servo regions corresponding to two adjacent recording tracks are arranged in such a manner that one corner of one of the magnetic patterns is closest to one corner of the other, the corners of the two magnetic patterns are substantially joined together.
