    摘要: Provided are a method and apparatus for controlling a handheld gimbal, and a handheld gimbal. The method comprises: receiving an indication, input by a user, of entering a fast following mode; based on the indication of entering the fast following mode, updating control parameters of a camera component in one or more directions, wherein the control parameters of a camera component in one or more directions comprise the maximum following rate and acceleration of the camera component in one or more directions; and applying the updated control parameters of a camera component in one or more directions to control the rotation of one or more corresponding electric motors in a handheld gimbal, thus controlling the movement of the camera component in one or more directions. Where a gimbal handle needs to be rotated quickly for photography, the present invention can enable a camera component fixed on a handheld gimbal to quickly follow a target and perform photography smoothly.

    摘要: A gimbal mount system is configured to a couple to a gimbal coupled to and securing a camera. The gimbal mount system includes a handle, a power source, a user interface, a mounting interface, a communication interface, and a communication bus. The mounting interface is located within an end of the gimbal mount system and includes an opening configured to receive a reciprocal mounting protrusion of the gimbal. A locking mechanism removably couples the gimbal to the gimbal mount system. The communication interface is located within the mounting interface and is configured to couple to a reciprocal communication interface of the gimbal. The communication bus is coupled to the power source, user interface, and communication interface and is configured to provide power from the power source to the gimbal. The communication bus may provide instructions to the gimbal based on user input received via the user interface.

    摘要: A camera mounting assembly includes a base member or plate for holding a camera and a side member or plate. In an exemplary embodiment, lower slots on the base plate or side slots on the side plate are gripped by a vertical support's quick-release mechanism to mount the camera in a landscape or portrait orientation, respectively, the camera being generally centered and evenly balanced over the support in either case. The side member is detachably fastened to the base member, which modular construction permits separately timed purchase of the base member and side member as allowed by the user's budget and further permits breakdown of the assembly for ease of transport. The side member may be generally L-shaped with a lower arm length less than the side arm length, which also facilitates transport. Other components may be detachably added such as a hand grip facilitating freehand shooting with the camera.

Further, the memory device retrieves a map data comprising a mapping between the input device states and parameter control commands. Further, the processing device generates a parameter control command based on one of the input device states and the map data. Further, the communication interface transmits the parameter control command to the content capturing device.
