Abstract:
A spark plug and an engine valve member are integrally combined in the same structure by forming an ignition gap between a first electrode rod which is the center electrode incorporated in an engine valve body and a second electrode portion which is the grounding electrode formed to be integral with or incorporated in the engine valve body. The resulting structure has the features of both a spark plug and an engine valve and is advantageously compact and applicable to gasoline engines in general.

Abstract:
An apparatus for recording data to a film, executing: both unchangeable recording such as optical recording, and changeable recording such as magnetic recording for relatively important data, which is required protection from data failure and is permitted to change such as date, date print mode, and trimming direction of printing area, and executing: only magnetic recording for relatively unimportant data, which is allowed some data failure and has few possibility of changing such as aperture value, shutter time value, photometric value, exposure compensation value, and object distance value; wherein the apparatus is housed in a detachable back cover of a camera, and data being transmitted from the main body of the camera to the back cover.
Abstract:
A fabric to be utilized in making a textile product is prepared in the steps comprising: embroidering a natural fabric along the predetermined cutting line and/or patterns with thermofusing fibers; and melt cutting and/or pressingly welding along said embroidered portions with a supersonic treating machine to provide frayless edge portions and/or openings as well as hollow patterns. Another fabric is prepared in the steps comprising: providing at least one surface of a natural fabric with a thermofusing fabric; and melt-cutting and/or pressingly welding along the predetermined cutting line and/or patterns with a supersonic treating machine.
Abstract:
A developing apparatus for developing electrostatic images comprises a container for containing a developer comprising magnetic material. A rotatable member is provided which is rotatable in the container in contact with the developer, the rotatable member being supported on bearings. A stationary magnetic member is disposed out of position inside the container and adjacent to the bearing with a clearance from the rotatable member, the stationary member enclosing the rotatable member. The stationary member has first and second magnetic poles disposed adjacent to each other and having the same magnetic polarity to form a repelling magnetic field to form a magnetic brush of the developer in a clearance between the magnetic member and the rotatable member.
Abstract:
A communications method for a local area network system including a trunk local area network (1); a plurality of node units (N) provided on the trunk local area network and having a terminal table (TB); a branch local area network (2) connected to each of the node units; and a terminal device (T) connected to the branch local area network, which comprises the steps of comparing a group number of a frame received by the node unit from the trunk area network with a group number of its own to produce a first result and comparing a source address (SA) of the frame with an address stored in the terminal table to produce a second result; and erasing or transferring the frame between the node units based on the first and second results, thereby controlling communications between the terminal devices.
Abstract:
A permanent magnet rotor is connected to an output shaft and has more than one pair of magnetic poles. A stator has three phases connected in Y-connection including a first phase, a second phase, and a third phase. Each phase has as many series-connected coils as there are pairs of the poles of the magnet rotor. A timer circuit outputs a first signal for a predetermined length of time when a target angular position of said rotor is selected. On the basis of a present angular position of the rotor and the target angular position of the rotor, a rotation direction commanding circuit outputs a second signal indicative of the rotation direction of rotor. In accordance with the signal, a current polarity control circuit supplies a first current to the first phase (subcoils) in accordance with the first signal and a second current to the second and third phases (main coils) in accordance with the second signal so as to drive the rotor into rotation to the target angular position. The first phase is supplied the first current for a predetermined length of time in accordance with the first signal. The second and third phases remain supplied the current to them so that the rotor stays at the target angular position.
Abstract:
An image output command method, in an image processing system comprising an input controller to dot and compress density or tone data for an image read out by an input unit and for temporarily staying the compressed image data at a buffer; a work station to picture-edit not only a code information edited by an editing input unit but also the image data by the use of an input operating means and a display means; a file server connected to the input controller and the work station by bus lines and for storing the image data, code information and edited data picture-edited by the work station in the file server; and an image setter for reading out the edited data stored in the file server and subjecting the edited data to a required data processing, which comprises the steps of: reading out the stored data from the file server, separating respective image data which constitute one page and commands which edit respective images when the images are transferred to the image output unit via the image setter and are outputted, and separating the data of a unit of one page to blocks and sub-blocks thereby to control image portions by output position and processing method.
