摘要： An industrial roll includes: a substantially cylindrical metallic core; a rubber base layer that is adhered to and circumferentially overlies the core; a rubber top stock layer that circumferentially overlies the base layer; and a polyurethane coating that circumferentially overlies the top stock layer. In this configuration, the roll can provide improved abrasion-resistance, sheet release properties, and/or toughness compared to a roll with a rubber cover, but may provide these properties in a cover that is softer than a typical polyurethane cover.

摘要： A clearance enforcement system for a vehicle includes a transceiver to communicate over a data link that communicatively couples the vehicle to a control center external to the vehicle and a management unit configured to enforce a vehicle clearance policy. The vehicle clearance policy specifies that a vehicle must receive, in response to a clearance request message, an affirmative response message from a control center external to the vehicle, before executing a movement associated with the affirmative response message. The management unit enforces the vehicle clearance policy through a computer implemented method. The computer implemented method operates to first automatically determine within the vehicle when the vehicle is initiating the movement without having received the affirmative response and automatically alerting an operator of the vehicle that is initiating the movement without having received the affirmative response message. The operator of the vehicle is typically alerted using at least one visual annunciator, audible annunciator, or tactile annunciator.

摘要： A system for synchronizing data across multiple browser tabs or windows includes a synchronization module and shared synchronization storage. The shared synchronization storage is local storage of the browser and is utilized by a plurality of browser windows, a plurality of tabs or a browser window and tab. The shared synchronization storage is used to store information about notifications and a timestamp as to when that information was retrieved from the notification server. The synchronization module is responsive to requests for updates from the notification client module. The synchronization module accesses the shared synchronization storage to determine whether notification information stored there is current and if so provides that notification information from the shared synchronization storage to the notification client module. If notification information stored locally is not current, the synchronization module cooperates with the notification server to retrieve current notification information.
